Advantages: Keeps fingerprints and scratches off, matches the finish of your console

Disadvantages: Wont protect it from more major knocks

The PSP soft case is Sonys own attempt at providing your delicate new handheld with a bit of protection.

The case design itself is quite basic, it is slightly larger than your PSP console and like the PSP it is coloured black. Engraved into the middle of the case is the PSP logo with a little tag with the Sony logo on it at the top left.

There is a hole on the left hand side for you to put your PSP in and its pretty easy to fit it in yet the fit is good enough that it won't just fall out. The material the case is made of is very soft so you'll have no problems with it scratching up your PSP console.

A nice freebie is with this you get a little carrying strap which attaches to the corner of your PSP console, its nicely finished in leather and matches both the finish of the case and console.

The only potential problem is that the case is only a soft case, if you happen to drop your machine it will probably still break, if you take your PSP around with you invest in a hard case. But for light use and just keeping the dust and finger marks off it does a good job.

Summary: A reasonable case.
