Advantages: PS2 looks better, Makes the console sturdier

The Sony PS2 Vertical stand costs £9.99 and is basically a plastic accessory which holds up your console vertically to make it look better.
The official stand is a black-blue shade to match your PS2 and certainly does make the console look better, and gives it support. But is it worth the money? That depends how bothered you are about how your console looks.
It is my personal belief that Sony should supply this stand with the console as standard, instead of making an extra tenner out of consumers. Not a bad accessory, arguable as to whether it's worth the money.
