Misleading advertising on Comet Website (Comet)

Advantages: none - except that I know to go to Curry's in future

Disadvantages: Misleading information, poor customer service and inflexible approach

The only reason I ordered he item from thw Comet website was the information stating that you offered free delivery and installation - On delivery they informed me that they were not aware there was an installation. I called the customer service office and was advised that they were fully booked and I had to wait until friday to have the item installed. This means another day's leave I must take, and the inconvenience of a further two days without an oven. The girl did say she would refund the delivery charge I was charged (although their website stated FREE delivery) and the scappage fee £8 - great - I get £8 back for having to wait for installation 2 days and having to use 2 days leave. She also advised that the "system" wiould not allow for the installation to be arranged without the paerwork.I think they ought to talk to retailers like John Lewis who offer brilliant customer services. I will never purchase any items from Comet again.
