Disadvantages: Expensive hi fi, no real choice for budget seekers

I notice that unfortunately there really is a lack of hi fi shops around this area and therefore creative audio has a massive edge in the market by lack of numbers alone.

I visited this store because I was looking to build my first hi fi seperates system but was still unsure as to what these components were going to be. The store itself is quite small but everything is nicely presented and well arranged. I was greeted by 2 sales guys who asked how they could help me and after briefly detailing what I was looking for, they offered a hi fi system which was within my budget that I could listen to.

I was taken into a roomy demonstration room, in which the hi fi was quickly prepared for me and the one sales guy stood at the entrance while I sat down and listened to the impressive sounding music.

After I had finished listening I told them that I was still unsure and secondly if they could offer me any form of a discount. They were quite open to this and suggested that they could include all the necessary cabling and free delivery if I was interested.

Unfortunately at this time I could not make my mind up and decided to think about it and left the shop without a purchase. I found that their customer service skills were excellent, they were knowledgable, helpful and friendly and just generally helpful. Having a demonstration room was very welcome and it's a roomy comfortable part of the store where you can just relax.

The downside of course is that their budget range was minimal and upon visiting their website recently, noticed that they now only cater for for the premium end of the market. Therefore if that's what you are in the market for, then I can definitely recommend this shop.
