Another customer lost (Eclipse Computers (Coventry))

Disadvantages: poor customer service, poor communication, poor attention to detail

I used Eclipse Computers to try to buy a few items that we needed at short notice. The items were indicated as "in stock" and so we placed our order.

A week after the order was placed it still had not arrived so we started sending emails to try and track down where our order had gone?

After the third email to there customer service address we finally recived a response indicating that the items were out of stock but were due in today. We replied with an email indicating that we would come and pick the items up, once again a wall of silence infact the wall of silence continued until I drove to Coventry today.

As it turns out the shop is run to the same poor standards as the web shop and after 45 minutes I canclled my order, athough I still haven't recived an email confirming this.

My company was considering setting up a trade account, not a chance now.

Summary: These guys don't deserve our business
