Advantages: Good prices, reasonable range and availability.

Disadvantages: not allways knowledgable, some of the staff are not too keen to help.

In days gone by I would have chewed my arm off before buying from eclipse. My experiences several year's ago were negative to say the least. Being an engineer I also came across horror stories from the buying public.... however after avoiding eclipse for many years I had to swallow my pride and make an emergency purchase of components to build several systems.

I have returned on several occasions since and I can say hand on heart things have improved dramatically, whilst they are still a second best for me (largely because one of the salesman is not particularly helpfull and tends to fill in the gaps with his very own version of the truth instead of saying "i dont know". My recommend to anybody needing a deal would be to give them another shot.
