10:00 arrive at store with non-working motherboard. Taken to back room shown a motherboard working.

12:00 arrive at eclipse with non-working motherboard. Shown working in backroom. Non-working ram replaced.

13:00 return to store with non-working motherboard and newly blown ram.

13:00 to 15:00 arguing with muppet that a motherboard that has blown processor and ram is not working as it should. muppet refuses to return cash. finally cash returned minus £15.00+ handling charge.

15:30 walk into micom (www.micom.com) buy exactly same motherboard, processor and ram.

16:30 new computer built and ready for software input.

16:34 contact trading standards officers and prepare to sue for £15:00+ illegally withheld by eclipse and for three trips to eclipse involving £30.00 worth of petrol and loss of time at £50 per hour.

Moral of story: flashy store does NOT mean employees have any understanding of (a) the products they are selling; (b) the Sale of Goods Act 1979, The Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982, Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994. The Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002, or any other legislation that comes under the broad heading of Protection for the Consumer; and (c) Customer Relations.

BE WARNED if you shop in this store your Rights will be ignored, you will always be in the wrong and you will always be considered a liar and a fool (which latter you will be if you are dumb enough to shop there!)
