Although I normaly do a bit of research on a company before I spend my hard earned money online I actually placed an order with Eclipse without doing so. It was only afterwads that I had a chance to check up on them. Naturally I was a little bit worried when I saw all the bad reviews they had been given and started to wonder if perhaps I'd made a mistake. As I'd ordered late on Saturday the office was closed untill Monday so I had to wait till then to find out if I was going to be getting the runaround!

Monday arived and with trepidation I phoned their customer services line at 9:30 expecting to be on hold for ages and have to deal with a surly member of staff and fight to get my money back. With my surprise the phone was answered within 5 rings and I was told confidently that everything was in stock and it would be sent out on a next-day service to arrive with me on Tuesday. Pleasantly surprised I started to relax a bit, although obviously this still could have been a fob-off.

Still not being 100% confident I phoned them again this morning and yet again the phone was answered very quickly and I was told that all my items had been dispatched as scheduled and should be with me that day, but if I wanted to check with the courier here was the consignment number. Always the cynic, I did actually check and low-and-behold there were my items on the van and down for delivery today! What more could you ask for?

Eclipse may have had a bad press in the past, but as far as I'm concerned they've done everything they said they would and were still at least 10% cheaper than anyone else. Would definately use them again!

Summary: My experience just goes to show that you shouldn't always belive what you read on the net!
