Advantages: none.... possibly a false sense of hope that you may get something good

Disadvantages: They will cost you money in refunds, legal action,phone calls, computer repairs

Eclipse computers are COWBOYS and extremely useless. I ordered my P.C on the 9th october 2007 and I was told about next day delivery on their sight upon ordering...Later it turned out that next day delivery was meant for when it was built...(meaning weeks)......no prob I thought......I was promised 14-16 days. I agreed.......finally a month later the computer arrived and IT WAS BROKEN.....I told them it would'nt turn on...I was spoken to like I was an idiot and basically warned that if they found there was nothing wrong with it I would be charged....So I tested the power supply....THERE POWER SUPPLY BLEW UP MY OLD P.C !!!!!
I told them to no avail.....They ignored my e-mails and I waited another few weeks until I had to write them a threatening letter of legal action.....I have spent a fortune on phone calls trying to speak to them....they are muppets....One member of staff called Paul Arkell was rude to me basically saying if I do not stop e-mailing and become patient then my refund process would not be complete...We had to pay money to return the goods...money to fix our old computer and I got behind in my university studies.
I honestly think this company needs to be prosecuted by trading standards or someone.
My Advice...........KEEP AWAY.....THEY ARE CHEAP BECAUSE THEY ARE INCOMPETANT MUPPETS THAT WILL COST YOU MONEY IN POSTING GOODS BACK, PHONE CALLS, POSSIBLE LEGAL ADVISE AND COMPUTER REPAIRS !!!!!.......Very poor company about to fold.

Summary: They are either cowboys or pathetic amatuer computer nerds with no business sense.
