Ordered parts for a PC, only half were in stock. It took a week and an e-mail from me to find this out, although they'd taken the money out of my account the day after the order.
I tried to cancel the order but was told half of the items had already been sent. (Strange when earlier the same day the order was being held up by the items not in stock!)
Anyway, I refused the goods and requested a full refund which I was entitled to according to the distance selling regulations.
Apparently the regulations don't apply to Eclipse because I hadn't received the goods yet. (Not correct according to trading standards).
After asking my bank to investigate, 3 letters threatening to take them to court and more than 1 month, I got my money back, minus the delivery charge. I'd had enough and didn't want to waste more time going through the courts for the remaining few pounds.
Overall, a stressful, upsetting and generally a disgusting experience from a rude, ignorant and selfish company.
My money went elsewhere, where they actually treat customers properly. Maybe a tiny bit more expensive, but worth every penny extra.
Summary: Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!
