Firstly Hello, I would like to put forward my point of view regarding previous posts and my experience with Eclipse Computers over the past 5-6 years. This next bit is important as I am a current employee of the company.

Living in Coventry all my life and being a computer technician, I obviously was in need of parts and supplies to upgrade numerous computers. I was recommended Eclipse by a Technician at a reputable college within the city. I started using them and realised that there prices where indeed very keen. Trip after trip produced no faulty equipment, apart from a couple of sticks of memory which where just down to incompatibility. This is understandable as with so many computer component manufacturers competing for a slice of such a small pie, you can expect nothing less. They want to make it fast and cheap. After years of purchasing equipment I decided that the time had come to stop working independently and move into the company based side of IT. Having watch Eclipse develop over the years I decided to apply for a job there. I got an interview and was accepted into their Technical Department. I have worked there now for the past 7 months and i can honestly say that I have no problems with the way they conduct business.
Now you may think "This guy works for them, he's bound to say nice things...". This however is not the case. I believe in freedom of speech and the right to say what I want without obviously being slanderous. There are alot of negative posts on this site, however I feel that if some of the customers who where satisfied with the service Eclipse pr
ovides would speak up about it, then maybe people would realise that it's not ALL negative. I am in no way saying that Eclipse is a "perfect" company but I challenge you to name me one....?
Overall I would recommend Eclipse to anyone and I do so to my friends in the IT business (and there are alot of them). Schools, Colleges and many other companys benifit from the service that Eclipse provides. Just because you have had a bad experience, does it give you the right to criticise the workers here? We do work hard, and yes it is busy. We enjoy our jobs otherwise would not be here still. Certain posts in this thred are pure fiction, however we are all entitled to our opinion... I leave you there. If you are indeed a customer of Eclipse that has recieved good service, then please feel free to comment.

It’s easily the most unprofessional, tinpot, predatory company I've ever come across.

Your outright thieves.

Every one who has been ripped of by you should team up and server a joint law suit against Eclipse Computers. The kind of law suit that will see everyone gets what they are due and destroys the company in the process so you can't lure in any more unsuspecting consumers.

I have only bought there 5 times and the customer service is appalling. So are the queues, they are obviously well understaffed on a shoestring budget. It really is not worth the saving a few quid buying there because I promise you waste hours queuing in the shop or on the phone. Your time is more precious than saving a few quid. Don't touch them with a barge pole

You are not qualified to give advise on any kind of tech.
Eclipse-compute rs are a rip off company that employes spotty kids like you.
No wonder its a disgrace
