Well, this has to be my worst consumer experience, enough to be bothered to take the time to register for this site...... First order, motherboard box was missing the manual (useful!), downloaded that myself from gigabyte website though, also missing 2 cables. And they took the money for the keyboard that was out of stock, still waiting 4 weeks later, despite promising me a replacement with one they had in stock a few days ago. It gets better...... Second order, I live in london, big place, my postcode is NW2, they sent to SW2. Fair enough, we all make mistakes. Mailed eclipse to tell them they are in error, but I would pick the parcel up from the depot and could they mail me back to make sure this was ok. No mail. Parcel company when contacted said it was on its way back to eclipse. Few days later, managed to get through on the phones, Nick stated that the parcel was back today and would send it on next day delivery - still no parcel that week. The next week - got an email stating they were still waiting for my parcel to arrive and would send it when it came back..... WTF???!! When i got through on the phone, apparently this was another Nick in the company who sent that , not the guy I was talking to. Manager time!!! grr!! Manager grunted in the right places, and promised a next day delivery.......... after spending all day waiting for the parcel, phoned the manager (Phil) again - sent royal mail, so no guarantees of delivery. Later that week, got a phone call to say parcel had arrived, where would I like it sending to??? STILL WAITING FOR PARCEL!!!! Moral of the story??? Pay the extra money.........you do indeed get what you pay for. In eclipses case this isnt very much at all.

- 27/11/03 Hi and welcome to Dooyoo! I must admit the first order screw up would have put me off, so I admire your optimism! You do need to add a little more general info on the company to get higher ratings though! Have a look round Dooyoo and do a bit of reading and rating yourself! This should hopefully get you more reads and you'll get to see how others do ops! Don't worry! It's not as daunting as it first looks! Hope this helps and that you enjoy your time here! :o) |

- 26/11/03 Sorry for the low rating but you havent told me much about the company themselves or the products they sell. I must admit we have used them, and had dreadful problems so won't be giving them business any more! |
