Wanted a BFG GTX 275 OC. Phoned on Monday to check if it was in stock, and was told it was, but would have to order online to get online prices. Ok, I thought so I placed the order online there and then.
Phoned on the Thursday to check if it was despatched and to find out delivery details and was told that the item was out of stock (after being told it was IN stock!), but they had already taken my money from my bank account! So with no other funds available I was left with no option to buy a slightly lesser card from them than I wanted, instead of being able to shop elsewhere as I would've done. After reading the reviews on here, I'm feeling even worse now.
Think I'll contact trading standards. I'm totally disgusted by these chancers.

I have ordered some ThermalTake Bigwater coolant which was ordered on the 20th August 2009. It's now the 1st September 09 and still nothing. I have emailed them twice and not heard anything back at all from them. Ignoring my mail? more than likely. Going to the store in person tommorow and I will come out with a refund. My short experience with this jackass firm? stay away, don't spend any money at all with them, not even for a screw as you won't get it.

After purchasing a graphics card from ecplise in late May 2009 the product failed after only 3 months, which is disappointing for any computer component. On contacting Eclipse's arogant Customer Services Staff they informed me that I would have to fork out my own cash to send it back to them, they would then test the product to see if it was faulty, despite my own diagnosis. If the product was deemed not to be faulty by them they were set to charge me a further £10 and send it back to me otherwise I would get a new/refurbished replacement within 28 days. I told them this was not good enough and requested a refund or imediate replacement as I was entitled to by the Sale of Goods Act 1979. They initially refused and i'm forced to request my refund in writing. Avoid this company at all costs!

Ordered parts for a PC, only half were in stock. It took a week and an e-mail from me to find this out, although they'd taken the money out of my account the day after the order. I have just ordered a PC from this website and i was very very happy with the service provided and the time it took to be delivered, i ordered tuesday got it thursday! i am happy with the computer and all the accessories! i did order it then read the review which is silly i know but they were recormended to me so i used them. but as most of the reviews were so bad i kepted calling them everyday to check for consingment number and found that noon is a better time to call. the people were very friendly and helpful. i would recormend them. i was one of the lucky ones it seem though.

I really got to thank Eclipse computers for a great service!
I spoke to their customer service department prior to ordering a custom PC build & was advised to speek with the sales team regarding the availability of parts etc..After making a few ammendments to the spec so it corresponded with their stock levels.I duly ordered it !
I asked whether it could be delivered within the week........to my absolute amazement it arrived 2 days later !!!.
Absolutely fantastic !!
Thanks Eclipse ......I will definitely be using you again !!

No communication. Goods not delivered as per 3-5 day delivery advertised. Company do not respond to emails requesting status of order. Avoid like the plague. In my opinion, not the sort of company to risk depositing your money with in these uncertain times while they try to source the goods.

Yes, Eclipse is a low priced computer shop. They also sell parts for computers which is handy. Yes if there is a queue to the door you will be lucky to be served within 1/2 an hour. Hideous. Without reserve these people are the worst people I have ever had to deal with. They charge your card for orders they can not fill. You will only discover this if you contact them - they will NOT contact you to let you know that your order is not being sent.
I waited politely for 3 weeks. Then I telephoned them to see what was going on and was appalled and stunned by their terrible ethics and customer service skills - which were none at best and offensive at worst.
Steer well clear.
I would give them -10 stars if possible.

I ordered components for a complete computer and paid a premium to receive them swifty. Most of the parts came on time, however the processor has not come and the computer is useless. I ordered the parts on October 28th 2008 and have recieved nothing and it is now December 1st. I have emailed them four times and only had one email back saying that they are waiting for ordered parts. I know how they feel.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. Other reviewers have said that they seem to be overworked. I think that people should consider whether they need to use this firm because if you decide not to and they are less busy, I might get my mother board sometime before Christmas.

Eclipse computers is a very good value shop. What you need to be aware of is what you want. I've found it best to visit their retail outlet (there's a big queue so best to go on a weekday) and the guys behind the counter are usually very good with their product knowledge. I recently cancelled an order when I read the reviews about Eclipse - only to find them very helpful and efficient. I got through to Customer Services first time and I was reimbursed immediately. I have had no problems with buying from this company in the past, but it is worrying that so many complaints have been posted.
