Sony store is a electronic store that specifically only sells products made by sony. So as you can imagine, all the staff there are quite up to date on all the recent products sold by sony, and so on, so that is one good point about the store.

What is there to like about the sony store?
Firstly, as it sells sony, you know that all the products they sell there are really high quality, rather than buying form some other store, and then taking it home to find out that it doesn't work or doesn't last.

So, what are the cons?
There are a few cons with the sony store. Firstly, as it sells ALL of sony's products, they only have a few of each, (they do near me anyway, its only a sotre in the high street). What i mean by this is, they only might have say 3 or 4 different sony laptops in the store, which isn't good if you are looking for a laptop, you are better off going to somewhere like PC world and seeing a large collection there. This is the same for tv's, cameras, infact all of the products they sell there. Also, as they sell so many different products, they don't sell many accesories for each product. For example, they do not sell any games for the sony psp or the ps3!
Anoother con is that s they only sell sony products, jsut about everything in there is very expensive!

My advice:
If you are in the market for anything electrical, go to either a large electrical store, or a store that specialises in whatever product you are looking for, most people would say be in the market for a tv, rather than just want to buy anything sony, and for that reason i think the sony store isn't that useful, but its a nice store to pop into every now and again and look at whats new from sony.

Summary: go to a specalist store for you wanted prodcut, e.g. pc world
