Advantages: covers blemishes and dark circles under eyes
Disadvantages: a little expensive
As I get older I find that sometimes when I want to look my best and have a function or party to go to I have to wear a concealer , as my skin isn't as youthful looking as it used to be and now has fine lines and sometimes dark circles under the eyes if I have been staying up late.
At times like these a good concealer is necassary.
I bought this Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Maximum Coverage Concealer for £9.75 from cheapsmells.co.uk but the prices vary depending on where you buy it from and this isn't always in stock on that site so you might have to browse around and pay a little more somewhere else if your buying online. Anything up to £16.
It can also be found on Ebay occassionally but I have seen it in TK Max for £15 and it is available at Boots chemist.
The compact is a nice size that goes nicely into your make-up bag it is a shiney black square with a mirror in the inside lid, I like these types of compacts as you can apply the concealer when your out clubbing or at a party and it has begun to wear off a little, you can just nip to the loo and re-apply.
The compact has a snap shut fastener and the concealer is raised slightly for easy access to the creamy concealer in side.
This is can be bought in three shades to match any skin tone, it comes in light, medium and deep and you just smooth it on to the face and it spreads nicely covering blemishes and fine lines.
It is especially good on dark circles under the eyes and is suitable for all types of skin. I have sensative skin and this is alright for me.
I haven't had a bad reaction to it and it covers nicely and lasts a few hours.
You can remove it quickly with warm soapy water or cleanser if you prefer to use that.
This has lasted me two months so far and there's still a little bit left in the compact for at least another five or six outings or functions when I get the invites.
I'm happy with the tones it comes in as it blends in nicely with my skin tone. I will be buying this again as I like it.
Summary: lasts a while
