Advantages: Goes on like a dream, and doesn't crease

Disadvantages: Ugly packaging

I love these eyeshadows. Take a squint at my photo, and you'll notice I'm half Chinese. This means I have deep-set eyes, and I have enormous trouble finding eyeshadows that don't crease in an instant once I've put them on.

I got a great big set of Elizabeth Arden makeup from my boyfriend at Christmas. (He has known me for long enough to know that there are two ways to my heart; through makeup and through clothes. I'm not shallow; just honest.) Since then, Elizabeth Arden eyeshadows have been the only ones I've used. Everything else has sat, untouched, at the back of my dressing table.

These powder eyeshadows are beautifully smooth. So smooth they're creamy; yet for some reason they don't crease. The range of colours available tends towards the subtle; they have some great "I'm not wearing eyeshadow" eyeshadows. They come with a great applicator with a longish stem, which really helps putting them on.

They do matte and slightly sparkly colours which are great for the evening. I'm not much in love with the packaging; I don't really like any of the EA packaging, though, so maybe it's a personal thing.

Give this stuff a try. You'll love it.
