I love Elizabeth Arden products. Although I only use the skincare, I always think of there makeup as being old fashioned, this is my fist makeup item I have pruchased and I am in love with it..............

The packaging:

Its the typical black/gold box. You get your eye pencil complete with a smudger tip to help create a smokey eyes look. The pencil is different from any usual eyeliner as it glides on like a cream. You can use it as an eyeliner, top liner and a under eye shadow.
The smudgey tip is used to blend and smudge the colour to create come to bed eyes.

Comparisons:

I use to hate eyeliner. I found it made me look a little too gothic. I find eye pencils are hard to smudge and end up looking harsh. Bits of the pencil shavngs would falls out as I lined my eyes, so I gav up with them. Now I am converted and devoted to this. This is like no other brand of eye pencil I have ever used. I can use it as a top liner, eye shadow and eye pencil. I dont even need to add mascara as it looks finished. I look instantly sexy.......

Application:

I use the smokey black shade as this is the most popular shade. I line the top of my eyes in it, as I hate putting on top eyeliner. I find it hard to get a straight line with eyeliner, but this is creamy and simply glides on. However there is no need to get a straight line as the idea is to smudge and for it to look sexy. I also line my eyes with it and under them. It might sound like a bit much but the resuly it very sophia loren. It just looks like a makeup artiste has given me this look. I use the smudger tip to rub any lines that look a little harsh and it softens the look.

Experience:

Everytime I go out, everyone says how sexy I look its unbelivable, if only they knew it was just down to this pencil. I just tell them I thought I would make a bit of an effort. But, seriously this is the only reason. I cant beleive I am sharing my secret with you.

Take for example a couple of nights ago. My boyfriend took me out for a meal at the local Italian. The men in there are gorgeous and they didnt take there eyes off me. I kept looking at them to see if it was me and it was. In fact I am more than sure, as even I have to keep looking at myself, as it turns me into a babe.
My boyfriend actually complimented me, which is a very rare thing. He likes me without makeup, but now he has changed his mind. He tells me to paint my eyes now...ummmm.
I feel so confident wearing this and the reactions I get make me feel better. I might have to wear this in the day!!!!!!

Tips:

I have used this pencil along with vaseline and glitter to change the look.
I put silver glitter on under my eyes and I put vaseline under there to keep the glitter in place and slightly smudge it. Also when you have lined your eyes with it in the inner rim and also on the top lid and under the eye. Then put vaseline on as an eyeshadow and smudge it slightly over the top eyeliner. Dont overdo it with the vaseline or it will look greasy. Just a little dab is enough, to give you those sultry eyes to die for. For this look, you should forget the mascara, you will not need it. But if you must, then one stroke (of waterproof) lengthening mascara, is enough.
Or you can simply just use the pencil alone, you will find that eyeshadow is unnecessary as this pencil does it all. However I would reccommend you pencilling your eyelids with it, as you would use an eyeshadow. Just a gently smudge it enough on the eyeline.


This is my secret weapon, I suggest you save it for nights out only, so not to spoil your secret. It really is now my favourite makeup item and I will always buy it from now on.

effect this will give to your eyes..........

I can not stress enough how worth it this pencil is. I think ever girl should have one. If you are a make-up junkie, and own 3-6 pencils as you cant get that look. Buy this, you will never want another one.
