Advantages: very versatile, all round balm

My grandmother used eight hour cream ,and now I'm using it on my children, a real timeless classic. It is a secret to most, as is on the makeup counter, but really we find its best use is an all round balm. We've used it successfully for sunburn, chapped lips, these small cracks down the sides of your fingers you get in winter, to repair fingers damaged by washing up, but perhaps its best when you have a cold.
Then you can use it to calm down the sore bit under your nose, from too much blowing of the nose. Not very romantic, but it has miraculous results if applied to childrens noses at bedtime, by the morning the redness has gone!
Its expensive, but a tube lasts a long time, very much worth its cost
