I obtained a job with Adecco in 2008 for Educational Testing Services. First their were issues with our checks and the entire department- because ETS just uses temps for years at a time instead of hiring them- did not get paid for about 3 weeks. Second the dress code at ETS was very lenient with their employees while Adecco had a totally different dress code for their temps -which they only enforced if their client -ETS made a complaint. A temp could be wearing the exact same thing another employee was wearing and they would simply send an email telling the temps that they must abide by the Adecco guidelines and to "disregard what ETS employees were wearing". Of course this illegal and I pointed this out to them after an ETS employee made several complaints about me. They never bothered me after that and pretty much walked on egg shells around me.
Adecco employees who worked on site at ETS have been known to be very rude and nasty to temps they were supposed to be helping. I can't stand this company. They don't care about their workers and they are very disrespectful. I would never work for them again.
