Michael Page - Again Fail to Provide

Advantages: They are good at sending you e-mails about jobs you will never have a chance of getting put forward
Disadvantages: Far too many, rude arrogant and incompetent, shame I have to give 1* rating for them
I have experienced poor service from Michael Page on both sides of the world.
In Australia, I went to meet people from both Michael Page and Page Personnel and the person I met from Page Personnel turned round and told me I had no skills or qualifications and that the best I could get would be a basic entry level job (not what I would expect as a qualified accountant with 8 years experience), all correspondence was one way from me to them including applying for jobs and all I received was the bog standard rejection, but a request for feedback or ideas on whether I was targeting the wrong types of jobs went unanswered.
Finally I snapped an put in a complaint to the manager that I had been registered for 8 months but they had not once contacted me to suggest a potential position to put me forward for. I then got a call about a temporary position that was an immediate start, two weeks go by with nothing and again all requests for information about whether I had been successful or not went unanswered. I had reached the point when I could not afford to search for a job there so decided to go travelling and come back to the UK and the day before I was due to leave I got a phone call to say I started the next day in a junior level accounts clerk role on basic salary, I received abuse down the phone when I explained that I was leaving because I would not take the job, but by then I had packed up and ended my rental contract.
I again complained about this treatment and was told when I arrived back in the UK that my details would be passed to a relocation manager, which seemed fine and I was prepared to give them another chance, I get an appointment with the office local to me go in etc and then nothing for weeks.
I ask if I have been forgotten about and receive a phone call (where I could barely get another word in) telling me that I should go elsewhere because regional agencies would be better at finding me the work I need!!! The lady also referred to my experience in low level roles rather than the types of roles they deal with. So it seems that Michael Page only look at your very recent position, which in my case I had done a 1 month contract at a junior level when I first arrived in Australia to get some money and local experience (which may have been bad advice from another agency) and ignored the last job I did in the UK which was at a qualified accountant level or the last position in Australia which again was at a more senior position, or the temporary job I am doing at present which again is at a qualified level....
Bottom line is that I suspect I am now blacklisted by them because I dared to question the substandard level of service they provided
