They wrote me a reference letter at first, but when I got to the bank they did not accept it because it neither confirmed my address nor my salary. Because the matter was so urgent, the bank called up the agency. One of the recruitment people there agreed to see me right away and wrote the letter on the spot. I’ve been meaning to write this opinion since writing my piece on Jonathan Wren, but have never gotten around to it. After finishing my job that I’d found through Jonathan Wren and found them to be of no real assistance to me in finding a new one, I decided to try and find some more agencies to assist me in my search for work, in the hope that some of them surely have to provide a better service than what I’d encountered previously. I must confess I had never heard of Witan Jardine before I started seeing their name at the bottom of a number of jobs being referred to me by one of the online jobsearch sites. After I realised that this agency seemed to have a pretty good selection of jobs which I was capable of doing I thought it might be an idea for me to get on to their books, so I sent off my CV. Very quickly I received a phone call asking me to come up to London for an interview. I don't wknow what it is about big agencies in town, but they always seem to be able to fit you in at very short notice but all the local agencies I used could only see me a week on Friday, or whatever. ...
