	Employment at McDonald's Restaurants ... worked at McDonalds for a year in my first year at college, and I have to say I didn t particularly enjoy it. It is certainly a job that you take out of desperation, a way to get me through college was my only reason for working here. The pay wasn t too bad, any 17 year old is glad of £4.50 an hour. The shifts on average I did were 8-10 hours long, with a 45 minute break. An 8 hour shift is typical of a 9-5 day, however working as a crew member you are on your feet none stop serving customers who can very often be very rude and impatient. 	Ann Summers Party Organisers ... had an Ann Summers Party at my house last friday night, a good opportunity to get all my girly mates together have a real giggle and enjoy ourselves. The Ann Summers rep will come along to your house, she sets up a rail of items from the catalogue and goes throught the catalogue. You get to see the items and the fabric and see whether it will suit you. I love the under wear from ann summers though it can be a little pricey. A bra is usually between £20-25 each and under from £8-12 so it can get expensive but the quality of the items is fantastic and long lasting! 	ASDA Stores ... at Asda as a teenager back in the day was not so bad you know.They used to offer over time pay plus getting the job is not hard at all. They offer actually decent pay at over 6 pounds and for people over 25 the chances of getting paid around 8 pounds a hour is high to. Asda has a number of jobs the best one is on the till. I used to work on the till serving customers and found that to be easy. Sometimes you would get angry customers asking for you to pack the bags for them.
