“ Organise parties for women and sell sexy lingerie and sex toys in the privacy of their own homes. „
Ok so as an ann summers party organiser I have to say I`m biassed but I love my job,yes you have to put work into it,just like any other job but you get great support and benefits.I joined up six months ago after hosting a party of my own and haven`t looked back since. You get a kit rented to you when you sign up for £3.50 a week until you have banked £1200(I did this after my first month) You can add to your kit whenever you want to keep it fresh and up to date,I put aside a portion of what I earn for this purpose. for the parties....first you have to find your hostess, once you`ve had a party or two you find this gets easier as the guests tend to re book with you, also canvassing at the local ann summers is a good choice. Three weeks before the party I`ll send out a pack to the hostess, this will include copies of the latest catalogues, order forms, invites, welcome letter, details of what offers I have on etc. Two weeks before I will phone and check that she has received the pack and make sure she has no problems, about 4 days before I will contact her again just to get a rough idea of how many guests she`s expecting and to confirm time. On the night I will arrive about 15 mins early to set up my kit and get to know the hostess,I`ll start with an introduction explaining all the offers thats on,the hostess will get at least 10% of her party sales, how to order and pay and also explain the benefits of joining ann summers. Then we will do a game, which game will depend on the crowd I have a large selection of games from mild and tame to mad and wild. After the game I will give a full demonstration of all the lingerie and outfits, giving guests chance to try on if they want. We`ll then have a quick break,I`ll sell some raffle tickets, prizes are equal to however much money I collect. Then its toy time,I go through all the advantages and benefits of each buzzy and guests get to try them on the end of their nose`s(if it makes you sneeze its the one for you)I`ll also pass round my lotions and potions for them to try,We will then play another game,I`ll draw the raffle and then its order time.Once all orders are in I tell the hostess how much she has got to spend in the book and while she decides what she is having I will go round the guests to see if they want a party of their own or to sign up.After packing up and thanking everyone its home time. The next day I put the order in on the computer and when its delivered bag everything up and take to the hostess to give out, this is also where I collect any money still owing.Right I think I`ve rambled enough now, just seen my word count..lol.. hope this helps anyone thinking of being a organiser or having a party
I had an Ann Summers Party at my house last friday night, a good opportunity to get all my girly mates together have a real giggle and enjoy ourselves. The Ann Summers rep will come along to your house, she sets up a rail of items from the catalogue and goes throught the catalogue. You get to see the items and the fabric and see whether it will suit you. I love the under wear from ann summers though it can be a little pricey. A bra is usually between £20-25 each and under from £8-12 so it can get expensive but the quality of the items is fantastic and long lasting! Having the rail of items there in your house is great, you get to go through them and all your friends are there to give their opinions and to help you choose. The other plus, obiviously this is shopping, but shopping in your own home with friends, a few drinks and the products right there in front of you. There is also a large section of dressing up costumes for fancy dress parties or for yourself at home. They make quality costumes and really pay attention to detail on them. At the party sometimes the rep will bring them along so you actually get to have a go at trying them on. Obivously there is also the sex toys, they have a huge range with varying prices, you also get to see the toys! which is a definite bonus - you can never really tell the size or anything on the internet! The other big part of ann summers parties are the games. These are fantastic and a definite ice breaker if you say invite you work mates and you other friends and they dont know each other! At the party we had a game with skittles in pairs and the skittle were placed on one person laying on the floor on various parts of the body then the partner had to eat them off with out using hands in the quickest time! Hilarious to watch and to play!! With the games you can win prizes and they also do a raffle where you swap your prizes until all the numbers are drawn. - be aware people can get very possessive over the best prize!!! As the party host you get 10% off your order so if your guests order £100 worth of good thats £10 off your order! I would thoroughly recommend having a party its so funny and its something different to do rather than just sitting in and it also gives you something to talk about for ages! The products are pricey but they are quality products and will last. Word of warning though girls - your boyfriend, partner, husband will have an over active imagination when it comes to these parties so expect lots of questioning when he returns from the pub!!
Well I had one of these last night and must say it was such a giggle! I go in Ann Summers shop from time to time but they do not tend to stock everything in the catalogue, hence having a party. Some people think these are seedy (my mum is one of them, she made a point of going out and refused to enter the house until the sex toys were put away, I wouldn't mind but she's only 45!) but to be honest they are a real good laugh and not intimidating at all. My consultant Mandy arrived about 20 minutes before mt guests to set up everything. I invited 10 people and out of which 7 showed up. Once we were all sat together Mandy gave us all name stickers (I was Hump Me Hayley and my friend was Jiggle Balls Jane just so you get the drift) as a way of getting to know each other. She then showed us all the underwear and basques etc explaining about them and the prices and told us we were free to try on what we liked. After that we played a game where she held out a card with a letter of the alphabet on and whoever shouted out the most sexually explicit thing beginning with that letter first won the card. The most cards won. The winner... Me... got a lovely little Ann Summers phone charm. We then all passed round the sex toys and had a look at those. This was followed by another game, where we had to put a piece of paper behind our backs an d do our best to rip out the shape of a penis. Best penis won a prize! We then all tried on some more bits, had a raffle (which I must say, the prizes were excellent). My organiser was fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Just so you know what you will be getting for hosting a party... Okay I had 7 people and excluding me they spent £250 between them. I got 10% of that to spend on products, plus a little party pack for having the party (which included some body candy, an 'over the counter viagra', flavoured lube etc) and because my guests spent so much and 2 further parties were booked I also got to choose from a selection of free gifts (I chose a cami top and top pants). Sorry if this review is a little too much info for some but my take on it is, there are going to be some people reading that have debated having a party but were not sure, this should sway you either way because it tells you exactly what goes on and the kind of thing to expect. I enjoyed it so much that I am looking into becoming a consultant! BTW - log onto the Ann Summers website! They have a fantastic sale on at the mo and you can get basques and crosets from £5!
I am an Ann Summers Party Organiser and i love it. I've been doing it for 6 months, its easy to do, fun to do and a great way to meet people. Its clear when you join up as to what is expected from you and how to help yourself.Although alot of people moan its too hard, it is a job that the more you put into it, the more you will get back out of this. Im currently training to be a unit organiser which is rising up the scale of ann summers.Yes you work on a commission basis and its not for the weak hearted and it wont be handed to you on a plate but if you work hard you will make the money!
