Ok so as an ann summers party organiser I have to say I`m biassed but I love my job,yes you have to put work into it,just like any other job but you get great support and benefits.I joined up six months ago after hosting a party of my own and haven`t looked back since. You get a kit rented to you when you sign up for £3.50 a week until you have banked £1200(I did this after my first month) You can add to your kit whenever you want to keep it fresh and up to date,I put aside a portion of what I earn for this purpose.
for the parties....first you have to find your hostess,once you`ve had a party or two you find this gets easier as the guests tend to re book with you,also canvassing at the local ann summers is a good choice. Three weeks before the party I`ll send out a pack to the hostess,this will include copies of the latest catalogues,order forms,invites,welcome letter,details of what offers I have on etc. Two weeks before I will phone and check that she has received the pack and make sure she has no problems,about 4 days before I will contact her again just to get a rough idea of how many guests she`s expecting and to confirm time.
On the night I will arrive about 15 mins early to set up my kit and get to know the hostess,I`ll start with an introduction explaining all the offers thats on,the hostess will get at least 10% of her party sales,how to order and pay and also explain the benefits of joining ann summers.Then we will do a game,which game will depend on the crowd I have a large selection of games from mild and tame to mad and wild.After the game I will give a full demonstration of all the lingerie and outfits,giving guests chance to try on if they want.We`ll then have a quick break,I`ll sell some raffle tickets,prizes are equal to however much money I collect.Then its toy time,I go through all the advantages and benefits of each buzzy and guests get to try them on the end of their nose`s(if it makes you sneeze its the one for you)I`ll also pass round my lotions and potions for them to try,We will then play another game,I`ll draw the raffle and then its order time.Once all orders are in I tell the hostess how much she has got to spend in the book and while she decides what she is having I will go round the guests to see if they want a party of their own or to sign up.After packing up and thanking everyone its home time.The next day I put the order in on the computer and when its delivered bag everything up and take to the hostess to give out,this is also where I collect any money still owing.Right I think I`ve rambled enough now,just seen my word count..lol.. hope this helps anyone thinking of being a organiser or having a party
