Army, The

I have currently been in the Army for two and a half years now. And from my experience there is loads of opinions on the job, such as you are what you make it. This review is based on my opinion only. Advantages Travel, i have been to Iraq for 6 months, Kuwait for a weekend, Cyprus, Canada, Germany just to live in. I have also been to many other countries to participate in sports. All for free! This is one benefit, apart from having a roof over your head for a tiny price, cheap food, free medical and dental cover, great friends, lots of time off, but are they all true?? I'm going to put my head above the parapet and review the Army as an employer!! I joined the army as a PQO-that is Professionally Qualified Officer, this cadre includes Doctors, Dentists, Nurses, Vets, Padres, Solicitors/Lawyers, Pharmacists, plus some really clever technical type people (but only a few). After working in the NHS, this job for me is a dream come true, working with soldiers is an absolute joy, they have such a great sense of humour I laugh y way through most days at work.
