Do not buy any electrical items from ASDA or Wal-Mart who own Asda they are inferior products & if they last more then 12 months you have had a result. I purchased a TV DVD combi they don't give you a proper guarantee form but a till receipt witch if lost you will have no come back even if you show debit card statements referring to Asda & the price & date paid bar code on the box with Asda name purchase number pallet number branch number, they will not honour the guarantee. & the Customer service stinks.

well why are you blaming asda? everyone knows that you need a receipt to return anything, if you bought a tv from currys you'd still need the reciept to return it, shouldn't blame asda for something you've done wrong

I work at spasda. Last year i bought a 37 ins tele from them. Only having it 10 months the thing buggered up. I rang the asda helpline where the fella there gave me a ref number told me to take it back for a swap i could not have a refund as i did not have a receipt. Fair enought i just wanted another tele.
Took the tele back waited over an hour for someone to sort this out to be told as i did not have the receipt and the tele had been reduced by £150 and they did not stock it anymore anyway i could only have one which was valued less.
I paid for the tele with my discount card aznd a asda gift card so they surly should be some record ofr my purchase.
The manager was a tosser and told me as i work at asda i should know the returns policy. Now i have a broken tele no way of gettin another.
Asda are crap at customer service crap at any service they only give a toss about profit.
The managers are so far up there own backside and do not care about anyone but them self and which young bits knickers they can get into next
