Advantages: wage ok, nice people to work with

Disadvantages: not always as flexible with times as they make out

i worked at asda for a little over a year and at first loved it. i worked the early 6 am start shift which worked out fine for me and meant i had the evenings to do what i liked. i worked on the bread and cake department which was hard work but not bad for the pay. most of the staff were lovely and very friendly but i did find aftger a while that their were "clicks" throughout the store and when i was having trouble with a collegue, no one would help because she had been there for years and in a big "click", i escilated to my manager and he just brushed it off. the actual job was great. i would recoment working their as not all work places are the same and the pay is not bad for a supermarket but its not the best place i have worked in and the flexible hours offered are not always very flexible.

Summary: a nice place to work but i couldnt stay for a long period of time
