I am the avon man yes that's right the avon man not lady,
most people think of avon to be a job for the ladies but not any more there are a lot of avon reps out there now that are male and i am one of them .

I gave up work as my wife was expecting are third child and thought it would be nice to stay at home for a while .

Then i thought do i want to go back in to full time work doing a boring 9 to 5 job that didn't apply to me so i looked in to things i could do to fit around the kids .

I then found out about avon which is how i became an avon rep , myself and my wife both do it now .

Its flexible and you are your own boss which is nice if one day you don't want to work you don't have too or the next day you could just work a few hours.
I must say its not the best paid job by any means but it does give you that little extra, but it also gets you out and about meeting a lot of different people which i enjoy doing very much .

Avon has been in the uk now for 50 years.

All you have to do is register as self employed,
then you will have a area manager who looks after your roads and stuff like that , then you will have a sales leader who helps you out with any other problems you have .

Its all about building a good customer list who make regular orders once you have done this your sorted .

You will be allocated certain roads which are your roads which nobody else should do but you always get the odd one that somebody has a friend on so they do them .

you buy all your products direct from avon at a discount price then you sell it on to your customers at the book price that's how you make your money.

You get 25% off every 100 pound of orders you get so the more work you put in the more orders you get , means more money.

Avon has many products ranging from perfume to creams to underwear and nightwear.
You put your order in every three weeks normally on a wednesday and then you receive your order on the following tuesday.

There are many different goals you can achieve whilst working for avon ,
there is sales rep , sales leaders.

Then if you achieve a certain amount of sales you get in to whats called presidents club where you get many discounts for example you get your books a lot cheaper .

You can also win holidays and cars .

If your prepared to put the time and effort in you will make a lot more money like anything i suppose the more you put in the more you get out .
