Grass Roots Mystery Shopping.

I have been a mystery shopper for about a year now and not only is it fun but it's easy money. Your never going to get rich working for grass roots but you will receive a steady flow of assignments which usually pay £10 at a time.

HOW TO JOIN
-------------------
By copying and pasting - https://www.grassrootsmysteryshopping.com/ into your browser you will be taken to the appropriate page to sign up. This is free and you have to click on the New Shopers link, which will take you to another page where you have to agree not to disclose any details of the assignments you are sent on, then you can register your details.
These are name and address, bank details and phone numbers.

YOUR ASSIGNMENTS
----------------------------
Without going into very much details about any one assignment, I can tell you that you will be first contacted by email and offered from one or more assignments. When I got my first email with a mystery shopping offer I was very excited and then the day after I get to more offers.
When you get an email asking you if you want to accept an assignment you can choose if you want to do it or not. If you want to accept then you can ring up a free phone automated service and register to accept. You will then be sent all the information on the task through the post, along with a questionnaire and scenario.

TYPICAL ASSIGNMENT
--------------------------------
You will be sent a scenario of what you have to do, which usually entails going into the shop and buying a certain item for which you will be refunded, so remember to keep the receipts.
Make sure you have a good look around the store to see that it is clean and tidy, look in the window and see if the displays are in order.
Are the staff wearing their badges and looking smart, those kind of things might be asked in your questionnaire.
You will be able to read what is expected of you in the letter of assignment sent to you when you have accepted an offer of mystery shopping from them.

Make sure you are not seen doing the job as this will alter the way the staff of the shop treat you , expect to be in the shop a while to do the job properly, don't just pop in and out, as you have to write down what time you entered the shop and what time you left. This can be seen on your receipt, you might even have to write which shop was on the right and left of the one you have been assigned to mystery shop at. So remember to take note of everything you have to do before you set off, if you want you can write notes as soon as you leave the shop to help you remember but don't go around the shop with a note pad as they will soon realise what you are doings, some shops even ring each other up to warn others they have just had a mystery shopper in.

ACCEPTING AND REPORTING WORK DONE
------------------------------------------------- ------------
I always pop the kettle on as soon as I go home after mystery shopping and ring in to say that I have finished the assignment, on your email to ask if you want the work and on the questionnaire you receive buy post you will be given a unique ID number.
This has to be typed into the phone when you ring up the free phone number and listen to the automated service.
This has to be done when you accept and finish an assignment.
When you accept an assignment you will be asked for your unique ID number, the date you are going to do the mystery shopping and asked if you have any more assignments to accept.

This is an easy process you just have to follow the automated voice top know what to do.
When you ring to let them know you have finished the assignment follow the process again and have your unique ID number at hand, this is the number of the job and then the phone call will register you have done the work.
By this time the kettle should have boiled and the water cool enough for a lovely coffee. You can then sit and relax as you fill in the answers to the questionnaire you have been sent. They will send you two copies as you need to keep one of the incase the one you send gets lost in the post.
Answer the questions in neat handwriting and honestly. Remember to send your receipt with the questionnaire back in the pre-paid envelope and post it either the same day or the morning after you have rang, this is so that your assignment can be processed.

GETTING PAID
---------------------
It takes about a week to ten days for the first payment to arrive in your bank and grassroots won't email you or send you a invoice, so you have to keep an eye on your bank account for any payment.
I have been working for them for about a year and so far been paid on time and have never had to contact them to ask where the money is.
Usually you get a payment of £10 straight into your account and this is sometimes a little more if they want you to buy a certain item from a store.

I have had regular assignments and they now even ring me up on my mobile if anyone cannot do an assignment in my area, quite often I have had a call to go to a bank or shop the next day to do an assignment someone has dropped out of. When this happens they email you the questionnaire which you can print off and send back to them to get paid.
I have made a regular steady flow of tenners from this company and highly recommend them to you if your looking for extra cash.

When I first joined it took them about six weeks to get back to me with an assignment, but I'm really glad I'm a member of their team now. I earn regular money.

Our company gets mystery shopped by this company and some of the people that they choose for the assignment don't seem to be able to make their mind up or don't read properly. On one part they will say that we didn't mention something and then on another bit of the mystery shop report, they mention in the commentary that thing we didn't mention. This affects our pay and we are sick of picking through all the mistakes, I mean the last 4 we've had, they has been 8 discrepancies. It's worse if you remember them and they have marked you down for things that you know you mentioned. But how can you dispute it? Their word against ours. I think they should be forced to tape it but thats probably against the data protection act. Lol sorry enough of me ranting. Had to get that off my chest. Brill review though. I'm with them but I always seem to be at work when they post the assignments for my area. Nicky x
