HM PRISON SERVICE Being a member of staff working for Her Majesty’s Prison Service is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it is a worthwhile career. I would like to add here that I have worked in prisons but have purposely not made this review too "personal" for reasons of my own security. First of all only the most upstanding members of society can be employed in the Prison Service, you have to be squeaky clean in your private and professional life and have your finances in order before you will be accepted.
