Advantages: Make lots of New Friends

Disadvantages: Everything else

This was my first job and I still work there, while studying.
At first I liked it, it's such a good feeling to make your own money not waiting on pocket money just buying what you please whenever.
I have made a lot of new friends there, but other then that it's a horrible job.

They try to get as much work out of you as possible on a minimum wage, if your to slow they push you to go faster if you don't they make you do a job you probably don't like e.g fries, cleaning toilets etc..

I've been there for over a year now and my restaurant has gone trough 3 business managers, each one making the job more horrible.
At first we were allowed to have everything on our brakes, we got taxis paid for if we worked after midnight & flexible shifts.
Then came the second manager he scrapped the taxis, which didn't do me much good as I only work once a week so I was basically working to get my self home from work. The third manager scrapped large meals.

But these aren't the reasons I hate the job, I go to each shift happy & ready to do my best. But there is always something that just sucks all the joy from you, they don't appreciate how hard you work for them, then they expect you to smile at the customers that think your stupid. Don't get me wrong some customers are nice. but some can do nothing but complain about anything & everything.

I guarantee you'll make new friends and meet nice people, but also you'll get to the stage where you dread every shift. Then you'll probably be calling in sick a lot, like me.

so if you have no plans for anything work at McDonalds, if you do get out while you can before your stuck there forever!

Summary: Hell
