Advantages: Training, future prospects

Disadvantages: Poor management and company performance

I used to work for RBS (part of the natwest group) in their Business Insurance department. The training was very good, and it taught me a lot about the insurance industry. The management wasn't so good, but no worse than any other large corporation. They have a really good canteen that sells chips for 60p! The profit share scheme used to be really good, but nowaways I'm guessing they would not be paying out.

The bast part of working for Royal Bank of scotland is the career progression, but there are also many other benefits. The discounts available range from shopping to financial services and insurance products. They are always supportive of good performance and I have frequently been given bottles of wine and gift vouchers as prizes.

The sales targets can be quite high, but they will always help you along the way. Just watch out for those big company changes!

Overall, I would give this company 7 out of 10.
