Advantages: Fun and sometimes rewarding job.
Disadvantages: Their instructions are sometimes wrong.
I work for several mystery shopping companies, one of them is Retaileyes.
Retaileyes like many other companies, is dedicated to helping improve costumer service, they do this by many means one of them is mystery shopping.
Mystery shopping is when someone enters a store posing as a costumer with the sole purpose of evaluating the service, quality and atmosphere. They fill in a detailed report which is sent to the company so that they can improve on any areas that they are lacking in.
The Mystery shopper is reimbursed for the purchase as well as paid a generally small fee, for their time.
It is not the best way to make oneself rich, but it does give you an opportunity to make a difference in customer experiences, as well as get a free meal or purchase.
To get a job with Retaileyes, you must first sign up and fill out different forms online about yourself. After being accepted you have to check their online job board to see what available assignments are in your area.
If there is a job you can take then you apply and read the different paperwork that you are given to fill out. Be sure to read the paperwork carefully as there are different things that are required each time. Some assignments may require a photo of the exterior of the building, or detailed timing so make sure you have the proper equipment like timers and cameras.
I like Retaileyes as they have very helpful people to talk to if you need extra instructions or advice about a job.

What I like about Retaileyes:
This can be a fun and exciting way to make a few extra pounds and I have enjoyed my experience, being a mystery shopper can sometimes be a thrilling job, as you feel like an undercover agent, ha!
I also like the fact that there is someone available to answer your question by phone and email (not all mystery shopping companies allow you to call them).
The people I have talked with have been very pleasant and friendly, and they answer their emails very fast.
I especially like their website which is easy and practical to use, and navigate.
What I don't like about Retaileyes:
I have found them to sometimes give conflicting responses, when I ask about a particular assignment I get different instructions from different people, so be Very exact when you need information.
One time the cheque they sent me in the mail was returned by the bank, and they charged me 40 euros for trying to cash the "faulty cheque".
When I called Retaileyes they promised to reimburse the bank fees, this was two weeks ago and I am still waiting for this to happen. I am not yet concerned with this as in the past they have proven to be very accommodating, but I do wonder why the cheque bounced.
Another time I went to do a assignment at an airport and I had called Retaileyes to confirm what time it was for and they told me I could go any time as the store would be open 24 hours. When I arrived at 23:00 pm it was closed.
The lady at the airport told me it is only open to 21:00 pm so this was a little annoying.
They definably need some improvement in that department.

So if you want to feel like the James bond of the retail industry, and make a few bucks then this could be the job for you!
Summary: A fun way to make some extra money, and feel like a secret agent!
