I have completed assignments for RE over a prolonged period. It was fun, I think I provided some good and constructive feedback. I really carefully considered each report I submitted.

Until..... I completed an assignment, had a meal and 2 x drinks. However, when the bar staff appeared significantly 'put out' by my request for a written receipt I was so embarrassed I agreed to just have my credit card receipt.

RE now tell me they will not pay me for the 'assignment'. So thanks a lot. I did the job, as requested, completed the questionnaire. I even have a receipt, albeit not itemised, and now I'm out of pocket - the reimbursement wouldn't have even covered what I had to pay for the meals, let alone drinks.

I won't be bothering again. It's really not worth the hassle. I'd rather pay for my own meals in places where I'd like to eat.
