I have owned a number of different Ladyshavers over the years and had this one for about a year. I mainly use it to shave my bikini line and legs. I have quite sensitive skin so always need to find a shaver that will not irritate me but will also work effectively.
The shaver has an innovative double foil shaving head for a faster and more efficient shave. The foil is hypoallergenic and 24K gold and it also has an aloe vera strip to make it as gentle as possible and prevent irritation of extra-sensitive areas. It can be used both wet and dry which is useful, but I normally use it after I have dried off after coming out of the bath.
The shaver looks quite stylish and is a cream, gold and dark pink colour. It has a large on/off button on the middle and an ergonomic handle that is just right for holding in my hand and feels very comfortable and makes it easy to maneuver. It also comes with a carry bag and a protective lid for the shaving head.
The shaver comes with a 3-pin (normal UK) plug to charge from wall sockets. It also has a plastic mould that you can use over the shaving head when first using to help you ensure you shave at the right angle to capture hairs.
On using the shaver the shaving head is very flexible which means that it adjusts easily to my body. I have never had any nicks or cuts when using it .There is a pop up trimmer for longer hairs or it can be used without the trimmer when the hair is shorter. I have found that it gives a very neat and thorough shave which is very close and leaves my skin feeling soft. It works just as well as a disposable razor with shaving gel and I have been very pleased with the results.
The shaver is re-chargeable and takes a few hours to fully charge. Once charged it is meant to give 20 minutes of shaving time but I have found that the length of time that the charge lasts reduces over time so mine is now quite low after owning and using it for a year.
It is important to clean the shaver after each use. To do this there is a release button at the top of the shaver which removes the shaving head and makes it a lot easier to get rid of any hairs that have been caught inside the shaver.
Overall I think this is a good shaver that you can normally purchase for about £40, although I think that a newer model has now been released. I would certainly recommend it if you want a reliable and easy to use shaver.
For only 27.00 pounds, I bought this excellent quality ladyshaver from Philips, and it`s been a great buy, having lasted me for a long time and through thorough use, loving both the look and style of the ladyshaver and the neet and gentle shaving it gives to my legs!
What`s so great about this ladyshaver is that you can use it under both wet and dry conditions of your skin, all though I prefer to use it when showering, as I somehow believe that to be better for my skin... It gives a very neat and thorough shave, leaving your legs soft and lovely looking for several weeks, and I find it easy to use and easy to manuever, all though it can be a bit of a hassle to clean it, be sure to do it often! This product is also rechargeable, so it will save you loads of money on batteries, and the quality of the shaver seems so good that I believe it will last me for years to come still!
I bought this product at amazon, and was immediately struck with how nice it looked and how easy it fit into my hand, the grasp around the handle feels comfortable and allows you to shave for a long period of time without discomfort. This is a great ladyshaver that I absolutely recommend, it`s easy and comfortable to use, costs little and is made up of solid quality!
