I recommend this if you want to try using an epilator; not for experienced users.

Having been a 'shaver' for years and going through many plasters I decided to branch out to epilating. I am a wuss by my own admission but was pleasantly surprised at how I handled the pain.

The epilator is relatively small and has 2 speeds which helps with some of the tricky areas. I have taken this product on holiday with me as it is small and comes with a fabric carry case which is much less bulky that the original box. The width of the cutter does mean you have to go over parts several times but I suppose that gives you better accuracy, however for a good 'finish' you need to take your time. It is relatively successful and has reduced the need to shave regularly (can get away with using once a week even in 'skirt weather'). The epilator does not cope particularly well with short or very fine hairs. In my opinion the cord is not long enough and I end up sitting very uncomfortably in order to get the base of my legs. The epilator does not cope very well with knees and ankles as the 'blades' are not flexible. Due to my low pain threshold I mainly use for my legs between my ankles and knees but I would expect it to be as relatively effective elsewhere.

This is cheap for a well known brand, and good for trialling using an epiliator.
