I have suffered with the stress of excess hair and having to go to salons when I was free and paying reasonable prices to have it wax however over a long period its cost me alot. I was scanning the internet for a product that could permenantly remove hair in which my search brought me to this lovely machine. I brought mine from next for £199 with 2spare bulbs and instruction booklet. I was abit apprehensive of paying that amount of money for a product as I had read so many different views on the other countless hair removal products. At first it was really painful and I had to motivate myself to keep it up but after awhile it became easily barable and the hair getting less was a huge motivator.
It is modern looking and works very well although dont expect results straight away it takes alot of treatments at different time periods of the hair growth. You can use it anywhere on the body apart from genitals and face/neck which i was abit disappointed in as for the money i would of like to be able to do my facial hair also.It is discrete and being able to do it in my home without having the embarrassment of an another person doing it was brilliant. It definetly is more worth the money long term than waxing/hair removal cream these may give you short term hair loss and cost less but over a long time it costs alot and can be messy. You have to do it at different times through the hair growth cycle so you have to be patient with getting results with this product. Its easy to use and you can choose the strength of the laser zap so can work yourself up to the higher setting.Im so glad i brought this and kept up with the treatments.
About the product
The IPL machine comes in an eye catching box which has the instructions of steps to use it printed round the outside of the box so if you use the manual you still have the key information on the box. The majority of it is white with some small streaks of silver which makes it look professional and high quality. In the box you get the IPL machine itself, 2 spare bulbs each with approx 1000 flashes, instruction manual and a wiping cloth to clean the delicate window which the laser is behind. It has a long cable to plug it in and also a long cable to the hand piece.
Discrete in your own home and in your own time.
Good cable length so you dont have to sit next to the plug socket.
2 spare bulbs which retail at about £30 each are included so it can last the user through a large amount of treatments to different areas.
The cost is recouperated through the length of use and the quality in comparison to other methods such as waxing which is quite costly and lasts for a short time.
Easy to use and not messy.
You cant do facial hair, neck or genital area with this product.
During use there is a smell of burning hair which is coming from the hairs being heated and the hair follicle burned which is to be expected but not very pleasant.
I would recommend this product to a friend and although the product is quite costly I feel the benefits of being able to discretely remove unwanted hair in the comfort of your own home and when its suitable for you its a huge plus in comparison to other methods which can be messy, still quite costly and have the stress of getting to the appointments.
