... I decided I wanted a coffee machine I did lots of net surfing to narrow down my choice and was amaed at the amount of "pod" type machines out there. I could not justify £100 on one so opted for the Senseo as it was the cheapest AND there are Eco-pods available that allow you to use normal filter coffee in the Senseo. Philips Senseo ... husband bought me the Senseo coffee maker for a Christmas present 2006, I must say it was one of the best things he has ever bought me. I love my coffee and have used it most days and more than once a day since. It is still going strong! The Senseo doesn t have all the fancy bits to it that other coffee machines do, but it makes a nice cup of coffee and is very easy to use. The coffee comes out hot, but not boiling (my mum was never impressed with it when she came over as she likes her coffees scolding). You can buy the pods easily in supermarkets or online, where you get quite a wide selection. The pods can be quite expensive in the supermarkets though, so I tend to b... Solis Palazzo ... is a great super automatic. Firstly, the machine has a rapid steam feature which works perfectly and you can also choose which way round you want to Brew and Steam, either way works and the expresso is still good. One feature, they directly solved was having a shorter path for the expresso to travel, to get to the cup. Being only 2.5 inches in this machine, it means it doesn t cool down on the way to the cup. It is also pretty small and fits right into most places with ease, as well as being on a turntable, which is always helpful. This machine really has it all and is only around £300 to £400. Philips Senseo ... Senseo Coffee for me. I have used many coffee machines over the years, they generally last about a year and I have been very unhappy with most until I bought my first Sensea (blue) about 3 or 4 years ago and have used it several times a day every day. The Senseo machine did leak water sometimes (not often) but it was worth putting up with because the coffee is so quick and easy with a great taste. In November 2005 I thought the machine was getting noisier and maybe had its day. I couldn t be without my regular coffee so in anticipation of its demise I purchased another, this one was black @ £44.99. My blue one actually died a couple of weeks ago, thats 17 months...
