Lovely thing, lost a star for the prices only

This was another one of those things that I drool over for ages but never get. To say that I love coffee is an understatement. I do not function in the morning until I get my fill, and if I do you best trust that you do not want to be around me!
My lovely lovely hubby got me this as a present :) and you can imagine my joy!

My Piccolo, and I call it my little penguin, came in a round cylinder shaped box. The box is mostly white with a red band running round the top of the box. On one side there are side and front pictures of the Piccolo and on the other side it lists the some of the coffee types available, as well as shoving inviting pictures of the same.
it numbers out some of the features in four different languages as well as a quick pictorial of how the machine is used.
Other than the coffee machine itself, the box contains a great little booklet with instructions, different drinks available, recipes etc. As well as a little 6 capsule starter kit.

This machine looks quite a bit different than any other coffee machine I've come across, and it is not just its colours that make me think of a little penguin when I look at it, its the shape as well so that is how I will describe it!
The front bit of the machine (the belly) is carved inwards in a round fashion. And where the penguin feet would be is an easily removable drip tray, because lets be honest, shit always gets messy... well with me anyway.
Running down the middle of the penguin head (round top) is the tab that you pick up /press down. Once the tab is picked up it allows you to pull on the "beak" and pull out a little tray where the pods go into.
Right above/behind the tab is a little lever that you move left or right, depending on whether you are making a hot or cold drink.
The back of the penguin consists of a removable water tank which holds 600ml of water.
On the side is a fun looking on/off button which also doubles as a ready indicator.

This little gem is beyond easy to use and unless you have a little hiccup and actually spill some of your drink into the drip tray there isn't really any clean up to go with your coffee. Well other than washing your cup.
To use the machine you should:
      - First fill the water tank and put it back into place, I make sure I use filtered water as our tap water can get quite scaly.
      - Turn the machine on and wait for it to get ready, the on/off button will go from glowing/flashing red to glowing green. This takes a few seconds and you can set your cup up and get the pods in the mean time.
      - Put your glass/cup onto the drip tray, under the round head. The drip tray can be lowered all the way down or put up depending on which drink you are making and how tall your cup is. If you have a short cup I suggest putting the drip tray higher up so the liquid doesn't splash out.
      - Flip up the tab running down the middle of the top of machine and pull out the pod tray. Now the rest of the instructions vary depending on which drink you are making. Some are cold, some hot, some use only a single pod and some use two. So you should consult the instructions provided.
      - Put the pod into the tray, place the tray back into place and put the tab down until it clicks.
      - Now switch the lever on the back left or right (depending on the drink) let it fill up as needed and switch back. Again, this might have to be repeated if two pods are used but it is the gist of it more or less.
      - After making your drink, don't forget to discard the pod by taking it out of the tray.

So far I have tried the Cappuccino, Chococino, Nestea Lemon, and one of the more plain coffees from the starter pack but the kind slips my mind.
Both the hot drinks (Cappuccino and Chococino) taste splendid, they have a rich aroma and a taste that doesn't lack one bit. I actually prefer their taste to the 'real deal' coffee shop drinks. The Nestea Lemon is a cold drink that I tried and while it also tastes lovely it gets this foam up top. I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong or not but the foam is a tidbit off putting for me, buuuuuuuuuut I am not THAT fussy. If you just stir it up some more it should disappear.
I believe there are 29 different drinks that you could purchase and make with the Nescafe Dolce Gusto machine. They range from Marrakesh Style tea, to Cappuccinos (hot and iced), Lattes, Lungos and so on.

There was a 'starter kit' provided inside the box. Now the box itself will make you believe that you are getting 6 free drinks but you are really getting 6 pods. I had this a while back so I can't remember the exact drinks that were in there, but I think that varies anyway. But for instance if you get Cappucino that takes 2 pods, as do many other drinks that call for milk. So that way your drink count already dropped by one pod.

I am in love with this machine and its drinks. I am only sorry I don't get to use it as often as I like.
The pods are quite pricey, depending on what you get, and I haven't had much luck of finding them on sales or discounted.
Each box (in their online shop) costs 3.68£, regardless of flavour or number of drinks.
Now I know that this isn't much money wise when compared to how much a coffee shop would charge you, but as someone who can't afford such things every day anyway this is pricey.

Also the pod boxes are a bit tricky, I believe, with their advertising. This is especially true if you are new to these coffees. They will list the numbers of pods on the box, rather than a number of drinks, and someone that isn't aware or is in a hurry could think they are buying a double amount of drinks than they actually are.
The machine itself is currently priced at 79£ on the official website.

        • Reliability

        Disadvantages

        The positives overule the negatives.

When I finally agreed to jump on the coffee machine, band wagon, admittedly I was torn between machines. I looked at a few other well-known brands, but decided on the Nescafe Dolce Gusto Piccolo. It was a good price (discounted on the Dolce Gusto website), it had a wide variety of flavours, and the coffee pods were a more reasonable price than with other brands.

The Piccolo took a little getting used to, even though there is only a flashing on/off/ready button, a press down lever (to pierce the pod), and a lever to start the hot/cold water flow. I don't know if this is just our machine, or the norm with coffee machines, but when we first started using it, my husband was able to make scolding hot drinks, yet the ones I made were only lukewarm. The problem lay with how long the machine was 'ready' and flashing green for. I noticed (me being impatient) made the coffee as soon as the button flashed green, whereas my husband would usually still be organising his cup, and choosing a flavour at that point. So now, I always leave the machine an extra few minutes to ensure my drink is piping hot every time.

I love this machine, the range of flavours is wonderful, and suits our different tastes. If you buy from the Dolce Gusto website there's much more choice available than in the supermarkets (hot/cold/tea/hot choc), they also have offers on and sales. The delivery is really fast too, so you're not hanging on until your next fix! Last week I ordered some pods one morning, and I had them the following afternoon. It isn't always that quick, but still fast, they also offer free delivery, or you can pay for a faster service.

One feature that suits our needs perfectly, is that you can control the water flow. Some people don't like that you can't just start the machine, go do something else, then come back to get your coffee, if you did, you'd find you had a nice little water feature, where your coffee machine used to be! Yet, we find this really useful, as some of my husband's favourite pods are a little too strong for me. I like my coffee strong, but some of the flavours can knock your socks off! With these (because I still enjoy the taste of them) I usually just add a tad more water than is suggested, or use a bigger cup. It's especially great for adjusting the coffees which have milk pods, you can really change the flavour to match your particular taste.

The drip tray can be moved to a higher position for the smaller drinks, to ensure there are no splashes. I would prefer for the tray to be a bit sturdier, but it does the job, and I've had no problems with it.

The plastic water tank, on the other hand could be made of a tougher material. Quite early on my husband dropped the tank on the kitchen floor (lino) and a piece (the edge that the tank balances on) snapped off. Luckily there are no cracks in the plastic so it can still be used, but we can't stand it up on the side anymore. Fortunately Dolce Gusto sells the water tanks online (extra-large) for a £6.99, which I think is fairly reasonable.

Other positives are, that you don't need a special/fancy cup or mug (unless you want a fancy mug) to use in the machine, it's easy to clean, and chills water for ice drinks too.

The price of the pods can add up, depending on how often you use them, but personally I didn't buy the machine to replace the gallons of instant, and plunge coffee I drink, but more so to enjoy an extra nice coffee without having to go out to a crowded, noisy coffee shop.

Overall I'm very happy with the purchase, and the only thing that really bothers me is the loud 'hum' it makes when in use (I'm not entirely sure how loud it is in comparison to other machines), but it only takes seconds to fill your cup anyway. Also, the aroma of the freshly brewed coffee in my living room, is well worth the listening to the noise.

Krups KP100640 Nescafe Dolce Gusto Piccolo

The only room in my house where I actually spend a lot of money on the things that I buy is the kitchen as it is my favourite room in the entire house. I am always spending money on gadget and gizmos for it.

I bought myself a Nescafe Dolce Gusto Krups machine because I had always wanted a pod machine and it was red and stylish looking and I thought it would look good in my kitchen with the rest of my red accessories. It is also small and neat and doesn't take up a lot of room.

I managed to buy it on sale as well so I got it for £50 when the usual price is £89 so I thought it was a bargain.
The machine is so simple to use and the Pods that you use with it have been specially designed to have right the right amount of coffee in them for a perfect drink.

As I said it is so simple to use that anyone can use it straight away and there is no really complicated directions. Just fill the water container on it up and insert a pod and you are ready to go. It doesn't take long to heat up and you can have a coffee shop style coffee in just a few seconds.

It is also really clean as there is no coffee grinds to clean as they are all in the pods so when you have finished making your coffee you just throw the pod away so there is a minimum of mess.
It does take a little bit of practise deciding on how strong you want your drink to be but once you get the hang of it it's straightforward enough and I can do it without even thinking. You do have to turn the water off yourself when you have the required amount in your cup but again this is simple and as it only takes seconds you don't have to stand around for ages.

There is a really wide variety of different drinks that you can buy for it including flavoured coffees and hot chocolate. One gripe that I do have is that the milky drinks require two pods a coffee one and a milk one so this does work out expensive to buy but I have to say that they are absolutely delicious.

I only use this sparingly as it is expensive to run because of the price of the pods but I do love it and it is nice to have a treat of a flavoured latte instead of just an instant coffee if friends come round. Be aware that this particular model is smaller than some others and you can really only get two cups at a time from it before you need to fill the water tank again. This is no problem for me as I live alone but for couples and families you might want a larger capacity one. Also be aware that the pods are designed to fit cups smaller than the average mug so you might want to invest in some new glasses for it.

I love my coffee machine even though it is expensive to run and buy pods for. I probably couldn't afford to run it if I was drinking several cups a day but I don't mind spending the money on the pods when it is only used so that I can have a treat when I fancy one.

          Very good coffee machine

Being a coffee lover, there wasn't much doubt when I had to buy my coffee machine.

I love the Dolce Gusto system, and I think it's brilliant that besides the regular expsso, I can do Chai Lattes, Cappucinos and Ice Teas, everything in the same device.

Very user friendly, easy to clean and large range of coffee pods (if you love a nice bitter expresso, I have to recommend the Barista). The machine itself is very sturdy, and I wouldn't expect anything else from Krups, it has always been a reliable brand. it doesn't take long to heat the water, and you'll always have a lovely hot coffee. On the other hand, if you want to do a cold and refreshing ice tea, you can count that your drink will be nice and cold, which I highly doubted beforehand.

Overall it's a great coffee machine, with a great and easy system.

          Great purchase for coffee lovers

I found this fab coffee machine at my local comet reduced from £120 to £49.99, its so easy to use and comes in three differrent colours, black, red or cream, I purchased cream as it goes with kitchen, I got 12 little pods with it and there is a wide range of drinks that can be made lattes, chocochinno (my fav), lungo, expresso, americano and lots more. The pods are easily purchasable online or in your local asda/tesco, with my coffee machine I recieved an online £10 off voucher to buy pods online. Its extremely quick to heat up, although Id say one thing if you like your coffee extra hot you may have to wait longer, as when the light goes green I disperse the coffee and find it hot but I know alot of people like it extra hot. I love this coffee machine and extremelt glad I purchased.

          Disadvantages

A perfect inexpensive addition to the kitchen

This Krups machine is a very compact device that fits perfectly in any home environment. The range of colours available are a good match for the average households kitchen appliances.

In the past, I've tried the slightly larger Melody machine which resembles an alien and would highly recommend purchasing this one instead as it boasts a sleek design, and does exactly the same as the Melody machine, but for half the price.

Another reason why I would recommend purchasing a Dolce Gusto machine is for the flavours available. The Latte Macchiato and Chococino's are my favourites and I like the fact that in the summer months, you can use the machine to make Iced Tea and Iced Mocha's.

The machine is very simple to use, creates a minimal amount of mess, and is easy to clean. Unlike Nespresso, the capsules are easier to purchase, with most supermarkets stocking them along with their standard coffee. The capsules are also great value as the average pack contains 8 drinks for the price of 1 Latte from Starbucks or Costa, and if I fancy a 'nicer' coffee, then the Dolce Gusto does it for me.

          Advantages

          Disadvantages

Get one, particularly if you can find one cheap

This is the second Dolce Gusto machine that i've had, the first being the Melody 2 model. The first thing i can say about the Piccolo is that it is so much smaller and compact than its older brother. Of course this comes with its downsides - notably the water tank. The smaller size on this model does mean that I find myself refilling it after every couple of cups - a bit of a chore if you have guests over and are making a half decent sized round of drinks!

Krupps have learn their lesson from the first few models. Hidden under the water tank is a little coil that can be used to pierce the needle. Anyone who has one of these machines in a hard water area will know what i'm on about, with the needle becoming clogged very easily. Presumably if you're in this situation you're supposed to use the de-scaler (although not expensive i've not found a shop that stocks them apart from the Dolce Gusto website).

All in all a very good cup of coffee. If you want a proper coffee then you can go to a coffee shop, but if you want something similar at home then this is the machine for you.

Add one to your Christmas List

After last years festive period everyone seemed to of had coffee machines so I got to sample homemade coffee's which were as good as Nero or Costa coffee.
I proceeded in the New Year to scour the sale and get myself one. I decided on the Krups Dolce Gusto as it was a reasonable price and had tried one of these over Christmas and it was yummy!!

          **Machine Look**
This machine is small and very sleek looking machine especially in the red and black design. There is a small Nescafe logo on the black part of the machine which gives the brand confidence.
Attached to the back of the machine there is a clear removable water tank, which cannot be seen from the front and holds 600ml of water.
There is a black drip tray on the front of the machine which can be clipped higher or lower (depending on the size of your cup) and also removed easily for cleaning.
I really like a tidy organised kitchen and I do not mind this being out all the time as its modern and colours match my kitchen. But a benefit of it being small is it can be hidden away in a cupboard and not take up much room.

          **How to Use**
This machine produces top notch coffee very easily. Fill the back tank with water and place. Turn on and wait until the light turn's green (this says the water will be hot enough to use). Lift a leaver and pull out the pod tray, insert the selected coffee pod and replace in the slot. Push the leaver back down which pierces the pod.
There is another leaver on the top of the Machine. Left is cold water right is hot. The down side of this machine is you have to guess how much water you require unless you use a measuring jug?!?!
Bob's your Uncle you have a beautiful cup of coffee.

When it comes to cleaning your coffee machine it couldn't be easier. I empty the remaining water from the tank, remove the pods and swill the pod tray with warm water. If needed the tray can be unclipped washed in water as well.
The only thing you really need to wash up is your cup.

          **The Coffee it produces**
There is a variety of coffees available for this machine. They are -
          *Cappuccino
          *Latte
          *Americano
          *Lungo
          *Skinny Latte
          *Choccochino
          *Skinny Cappuccino
          *Espresso
They are all very nice a creamy - I won't go into detail on the different types as that another 8 reviews.

          **Cost**
I can not remember how much I paid for this machine but after a little bit of research you can buy this machine from -
          Amazon - £51.29
          Argos - £84.99

My machine is still going strong after 9 months of use and I used it between 4-8 times a week. The pods for the machine are reasonably priced at £3.79 for a box of 16, this may seem expensive at a glance but think how much you would pay for a coffee at Costa??

          **Conclusions**
This machine is very easy to use and produces a very tasty, fancy coffee. If you are a coffee drinker I would recommend you put this on your Christmas List.

          5 stars from me

As soon as we came back from our break we went straight out and bought one in red to match our kitchen, although I'm pretty sure they do other colours too. I this little thing, it just looks so eye catching and makes amazing coffee, you can't go wrong. Also quite a few of the larger high street stores have this on offer at the moment, so I would definately suggest it! It makes coffee time that little bit more interesting.... Also the coffee tastes ace! we have already recommended this to several people that we know including some friends of ours who bought three and kept one but gave the other two as presents! I think this is a very good value for money item, and it looks brilliant too.

A great little machine for coffee lovers

After wanting a coffee machine for a while I received this machine as a birthday gift. The thing I love most about this is that it's compact and attractive, unlike most coffee machines, with an eye catching design and colour. I have always been conscious of having clutter on my kitchen tops but the fact that this machine is so small and cute makes it the focal point of my tiny kitchen.

The Nescafe Dolce Gusto is simple and straightforward to use once you have gotten the hang of it. In the beginning it took a while to figure out your preferred strength and I did realise that using a smaller mug helped.

The quality of the coffee is fantastic as is the variety that you can find. The pods can be found easily enough in any big supermarkets. I do however find the pods are a bit expensive but saying that they are coffee shop quality and I look forward to mine in the morning. If you don't have too much of a sweet tooth though I find the milk used is quite sweet, my partner cuts out a spoon of sugar, which for the sugar monster is saying a lot! This can be balanced out though by varying the strength of the coffee or amount of milk used. I also find that if if you forget a pod in the machine you do struggle to get the pod out if left in the machine for a while. This is user error though but be sure to take the pod out!

The machine is sturdy enough to use everyday as I do and after 5 months I am yet to encounter any problems with it.

All in all this is a fantastic little machine for those of you who enjoy your coffee but who don't have the space or the cash to buy a bigger machine.

Great tasting coffee at a great price!

I chose this model after doing some research as I was looking a coffee machine for some time. I got the machine pretty cheap and I feel that I got pretty good value for my money. The machine is fast to prepare, easy to use, easy to clean. It is very easy to get the hang of it after following the instructions, and you will soon find youself producing great tasting cofee in no time.

The only complaint is that the price of the capsules which do seem a bit pricey. You get 16 in a box which usually costs around £4 but when you think about it, it's not that bad when you consider that you are getting a tasty cup of coffee. I would definitely recommend this coffee machine to someone looking to either buy their first machine or to upgrade. I use it everyday and can't imagine starting the day without it!.

A trendy coffee machine, which is just that a trend, try a friend's before you buy!

When redesigning out kitchen we decided to have red accents and this beautiful coffee machine fit in really well. I bought it because I love coffee and also because of the good reviews that I had read on here and other sites. Initially I thought it was quite expensive for a coffee machine, but decided to go ahead and treat myself.

Looks wise it's pretty distinctive and I'm sure you've all seen the tv adverts when it first came on the market. What you can't really see on this picture is that at the back there is a removeable 600ml water tank that is clear. It also has a removable drip tray, making cleaning easy and rubber feet to stop it sliding around on your kitchen top. I find the logos are pretty discreet too, so all in all I think it looks really funky.

That's about where my enthusiasm ended, when it arrived we only got 6 pods of coffee to try (not many considering the machine is over £100) and I found that I probably needed a linguistics degree to understand the instruction booklet, although as one other reviewer says it does have plenty of recipes to try...if you can figure them out. I don't find the machine particularly intuitive either, you have to be very precise about measuring the water you put into it, otherwise you will end up with weak coffee.

I also have a bit of a problem with how wasteful the whole machine is in terms of the coffee, which comes in pods. Sometimes you need 2 pods per drink (milk plus chocolate and coffee) and the pods are one use only so you end up with a lot of waste even if you only have one or two drinks a day. Also the pods themselves are non-recyclable, which is something Nescafe really should improve on. I will probably require my own landfill site if I continure to use this machine, but then I do drink a lot of coffee!

Onto the cost of the pods themselves, well even with using two pods per drink each cup of coffee works out at about 40p, which is much less than say Starbucks, but more expensive than regular filter coffee. Also the milk pods seem to be sweetened, which is not something I like at all as I never put sugar in my coffee. There are a decent range of pods to try, but you're looking at spending quite a bit of money to try them all. Finally if you have a few friends over you're going to find yourself in the kitchen for quite a while trying to get them their coffees ready.

I suppose that although the coffee that I've managed to get from this machine is nice, it's quite faffy to use and for that reason alone it has been relegate back in the cupboard.

                Advantages

                • Reliability

                Disadvantages

Worth it if you drink a lot of hot drinks.

I have always been a sucker for coffee machines, I think that they are great, and that you couldn't get anything better than these. So I bought this Nescafe one, and I am glad I did, as it is quick and easy to operate, and you need little effort to make hot drinks such use, coffee, hot chocolate.

                Appearance-

This machine looks small, and compact. It wouldn't look out of place in any house. It is designed to be small, and stylish. The only way I could fault the appearance is that there is no screen on it, to tell you temperatures, what its making, how long to go etc

                Sound -

During use the machine is fairly quiet. This is an added bonus if you want a cup during the night, which I so often do.

                Durability -

I've had this for a little over 8 months now, and it has held up well. There are no scratches or marks that I can see on the body of the knob at the top for your choice of water.

                Price -

I think this machine is a bit over priced for what you get, I think there is more available on the market for less which do more. As this machine is quiet and quick I am happy to of paid the price that it did.

                Recommend -

I would recommend this machine to family and friends as it is very easy to use, and a benefit to have around the house, I know my mum likes it as when she is at my house she never leaves the thing along.

Thanks for reading! I hope this has been of interest to you and has helped assist you in your decision.

                Advantages

                Disadvantages

If you have visitors, make sure they are not to thirsty as you will have to wait some time -

Had mine for about 18 months now. Seemed like a good idea at the time, as have quite a lot of visitors down and we used to spend a fortune going out to cafes to have latte's and cappuccino's.
So all started well, main problem is time it takes. If there are only 2 of you, fine but any more than that, it would be quicker to boil the kettle and make an instant capuccino that you can buy these days.
Capsules are pretty bulky things and they could do with a specific container for them really and for what I thought would be a simple capuccino and lattee - 2 capsules......double the time!
Takes about 2 or 3 minutes to warm up but don't forget to keep topping it up with water and you have to remember which capsule to put in first.
Over all, I will be getting rid of mine as more of a pain really - plus the fact it takes up quite a bit of room.

                Disadvantages

A great coffee machine with great flavours!

I have recently moved into a new student flat with two of my friends (wessexgirls14 being both my flatmate and another Dooyoo user). We decided to pull together so that we could afford a decent coffee machine during our studies... seeing as we are all coffee lovers! I guess we all need that instant pick-me-up in the morning. We chose the Dolce Gusto coffee machine after friends of ours recommended this model and amazon gave it pretty good reviews too! Anyway, here's my review:

                === Appearance and Packaging ===

First and foremost, this coffee machine looks totally different to others on the market. The front has traditional black casing and the back is a bold red colour. On the back of the machine there is a clear removable water tank, which cannot be seen from the front, and is capable of holding 600ml of water. Furthermore, you are able to remove the drip tray from the underneath of the machine with ease. The Dolce Gusto and Krups logos appear in white on the front of the machine in a discrete manner, which does not ruin the appearance of the machine. It has rubber feet to prevent movement across the kitchen worktops.

It is relatively small in size, which makes it easier to store away should you not wish it to be out on show all the time. According to amazon.co.uk the machine measures 33 x 21.4 x 31.5cm (H x W x D).

The box was quite bulky when it arrived... everything was securely fastened which prevented breakages during transit. The box includes the Dolce Gusto machine (with separate pod holder and drip tray), plus a variety pack of six coffee capsules and an instruction booklet. The variety pack was great for testing the different flavours, but we could have done with a few more considering the price of the machine! The instruction booklet is great though because you get loads of recipes to try out, and from our experience we've found they are pretty spot-on with their measurements.

                === Performance ===

The machine is really easy to use. Firstly, you lift the lever on the front of the machine and pull out the 'pod' holder. Next, you insert your choice of capsules into the holder until a click is heard. Finally, there is a small dial, which you move to either hot or cold, depending on your choice of drink and wait for the magic to happen! Furthermore, you are able to change how strong you would like the drink, which is a process of trial and error I have found! It took me a while to decipher exactly how strong I wanted my drinks - by increasing or decreasing the amount of water - when we initially set up the machine.

The machine takes less than a minute to warm up - due to thermoblock technology apparently - and stays warm for a long time. I have never had to reheat the machine, and we normally have around 3 (small) cups each morning. You need to turn the machine off automatically when the water is being poured so you need to be on guard for when the moment comes. Something Dolce could improve on...

I'm not a coffee machine expert, but this machine has '15 bar high pressure' which makes it ideal for extracting the flavours from the pods and thus bringing out a gorgeous smell in the mornings.

We've had no problems cleaning the machine - although it doesn't get very dirty because we have it stored away half the time. The removable sections definitely help to effectively disinfect the machine.

The first drink I tried was a latte. I followed the instructions correctly but the taste was actually quite strong for my liking. The instruction manual does say you can decrease the strength of your drinks, which I tried the next time, and it was near perfect. Well worth the expense of the pods.

The pods are non-recyclable as far as I know, which is really harmful to the environment, and something other coffee machines have prevented. The pods are really handy when it comes to initially making your drinks, but the waste accumulated after is pretty poor.

=== Price and Where to Purchase ===

We got the coffee machine off Amazon at £49.99, which seemed a hefty price tag initially, but vouchers accumulated from Dooyoo certainly helped bring the costs down. This is the cheapest you'll find it, in my experience. Comet have recently displayed it for around £70, so Amazon really are the market leader.

The Dolce pods can be bought in supermarkets for around £4 - the quantity depends on which flavour you decide to purchase. For instance, the Chococino only has 8 per pack, compared to the Expresso, which has 16 pods. We purchase them online in bulk to lower the costs.

                === Final Words ===

I would highly recommend this machine to any coffee lover. The machine is really simple to use, and quick to get your coffee fix! There is a large range of flavours to test out too. I have since discovered new coffee varieties that I would not have tried without this machine if I am honest!

The downsides are the high cost of the machine and the individual capsules. As a student, this was probably too expensive a machine for my needs, but seeing as we passed on getting a television licence, it was a small price to pay! Furthermore, you have to initially guess how much water is required for your taste needs, which requires a lot of messing around when you first get machine. A costly experiment!!

I give this machine 4/5 - its not perfect, but pretty awesome nonetheless.
