Krups Nespresso Programatic F897 ... the capsules are ground coffee. The espresso made is perfect, and sugar sprinkled on the top falls through the crema after 10 seconds. In price comparison, per espresso, it works out at about 70p and that s far cheaper than Starbucks etc. The machine itself looks beautiful. It has clean lines and would fit in any modern kitchen. The machine is of very good quality as one would expect from Krups. It has excellent functionality. One can have two sizes of coffe, which are preset in the machine. One can produce hot water, use the steaming function for frothing milk or heating liquids, cups etc. However, according to the instructions, you have to let it heat up until... Krups Vivo ... Krups Vivo makes a smashing cup of espresso, but as for a Cappuccino the frother leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this machine after reading the positive write ups about it, but I think that I must be expecting too much. I am comparing this with the Cappuccino I buy from M & S Cafe Revive. Krups Orchestro ... d managed to get a Magimix bean 2 cup coffee maker at a really reduced price. Well, as soon as we tasted the coffee we knew the machine we needed! We searched a few different shops like Dixons, Currys, and Argos etc. but couldn t find one that looked and worked well. They were either too noisy, dripped after making a coffee or just didn t hit the mark. So on to eBay! We were able to buy the Krups machine for £170, a much reduced price than we d seen (some shops were selling it second hand for over £250!).
