The Magimix Nespresso M100 espresso machine is a fairly compact espresso machine that would look at home in most modern kitchens. The build quality is reassuringly solid and tactile for a predominantly plastic machine. The grate upon which the cup stands is very easy to clean and the trough beneath is removable for easy cleaning.

The water tank at the rear of the machine is fairly cumbersome and you have to move the machine in order to refill. The most worrying thing about the M100 is the noise it makes whilst in action. The huge vibration not only gives a deafening noise but often leads to the machine jumping along the kitchen surface.

The price is towards the higher end of the capsule espresso machine market but you would expect to say more for the style and quality of the machine. The faults are livable and the result is a good quality machine that will last for years.
