Advantages: Great quality product

First off I have to confess that this was a purchase that I never told the boyfriend the true cost of this purchase, I pretended I got it for £200 in the sales when actually I paid £320 about two years ago, it was still reduced as it was the last one in the shop but not by as much as he suspects.

In my opinion it has definately been worth the cost and he has never grumbled about getting a coffee in bed at the weekend.

On the plus side this does make an excellent cappucino, it is really easy to operate and cleaning is pretty good as well.

On the down side it is rather large and tends to dominate a bit our medium sized kitche, it has a bit of depth to it so it is rather near the edge of our work surfaces.

In all it holds just under two litres of water and 250 grammes of beans however it will also operate on ground coffee as well however these are stored sepeately. If you want a cup of tea then you just select the hot water option to make your brew. You decide on how strong you want your coffee to be and a nice option to save waste is you also select the size of serving you want based upon cup size.

One of the things I love is that it operates a self cleaning programe to flush through the pipes and this means that the actual cleaning you have t do is minimal.

We have had ours for over two years now and it has never failed us and I reckon it was worth the money however only as long as the boyfriend does not read this and discover my little deception.
