... particular machine was not something I purchased, but my wife and I received as a wedding present - unlike many wedding presents though, we do actually use this! Even if you are thinking of spending your own money, these espresso coffee machines for the home user are very enticing purchases indeed, especially after seeing the professional versions in use at restaurants. After my experiences with this one I can ... Read the full review: Be a coffee pro in your own home by nickn5 |

Gaggia Coffee de Luxe ... was bought as a present two years ago. It is one of the best things I own. It is no frills simplicity so there is very little to go wrong on it. It is used twice a week every week and I have perfect coffee everytime. It is has become a ritual to make coffee, which I enjoy I have a latte which takes approximately 10 mins to make from start to finish. Firstly you must swich on the machine to heat up the water, add the coffee to the hopper and tap it down, the fix the hopper into place, flick the switch to pump the water through the coffee and flick the steam switch on, wait for the correct temperature and then once heated a further 2 mins to froth the jug of milk to t... Gaggia Evolution ... good thing about this machine is its ease of use. Quick too, 6 mins to heat up which is good. The machine seems to be fairly durable to have a mostly plastic body. It does require some expertise to get a perfect shot. (Pods make it a little easier). It does produce fabulous shots and will last you a long long time if you care for it. It does require tinkering with the amount of coffee and setup but that s expected of any semi-automatic machines. The machine warms up quickly so I can get a quick shot right before I leave for work. Its also very stylish it blends in nicely in the kitchen. The machine is not entirely dripless so have a cleanup cloth handy, especially af... Read the full review: Coffee Time ! by afalloon |

Krups Espresso F893 ... got this espresso machine as a wedding present, but know that it retailed at the time at £150.00. I wanted a good coffee maker, but not something that would be very costly. I (and my wife!) are both very happy with the quality of the coffee from this machine. The machine produces a very nice crema on the espresso and does not burn the coffee grind as so many of the big machines do in large chain coffee shops. This produces a much less bitter coffee and obviously it is the coffee grind itself that creates the different flavours, I believe that this machine helps produce a smooth filtered blend. The bad points would be the noise. I have only had one coffee maker p... Read the full review: Noisy Coffee? by SaveMeTheMoney |
