“ Brand: Botanic Choice / Type: Aromatherapy / Dosage Form: Oil „
Rosemary oil has an abundance of uses so it is great to have in the cupboard. I get migraines and on googling a cure that did not involve copious amounts of paracetamol, I wanted a more natural approach. Someone had put on a forum that using rosemary oil in the bath can help clear tension headaches and migraines. I love essential oils and I am a firm believer in alternative therapies.

The little bottle comes with a screw off lid. The brown bottle has a very medicinal look to it and I rather like the look and design of it. The bottle comes with 10ml of product but you really only need a few drops to have an effect. You can use the product as a bath oil; drop around 5 drops into the bath or you can use it as a vaporiser and add it to bowl of hot steaming water; you only need a couple of drops for this. Alternatively you can use it as a room diffuser and add them to a vaporiser. You can use the oils as a massage oil but you can not use it neat on skin. You will need to add it to a massage base. This is interesting as you can create your own special lotions and potions.
The smell is quite uplifting and I would imagine that if you had a cold then this will help unblock you and clear your sinuses in a similar fashion to menthol. It has a really strong and refreshing scent to it and for this reason it makes a really good sports massage oil as it awakes the muscle and stimulates the blood. When you have it in the bath you feel awake and alive and it can be the ideal cure to curing fatigue; although a bath always makes me quite sleepy! It does have a good effect on my head aches through and relieves some of the pent up stress.
Some of the benefits that the oil suggests it helps in, is making the hair and nails more conditioned and strong and assisting in digestive and bowl complaints. I do not use it very much so I have seen no benefits here. I only really use it in the bath when I fancy it or when I have a headache to get rid of.
This is one of those essential oils that you should always have in the cupboard as it has a multitude of uses to treat various ailments. The brand is well known for creating good quality essential oils that come from wild crafted sources where the highest quality oil is extracted. I would recommend this brand and especially this oil.
