      I'm a Tisserand fan!

The other day I decided I really needed some Tea Tree Oil. I've always sworn by it for so many uses including acne, cold sores, earache, insect bits, coughs, colds, flu....... the list is endless to tea tree uses it really is as it is natural antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-infection product and I see it as a bit of a medicine cabinet in one small bottle. I have even used this on my kittens cat comb to help combat fleas to much avail in the past!

I bought a bottle of this in Tesco the other day with a couple of uses for it in mind. First is a cut that went a funny colour on my leg leading me to believe it would scar and the second (and the biggest reason!) was because working out at the gym appears to have made the spots worse on my face and my open pores look a nightmare and I can't be doing with it since I am currently trying to woo my gym instructor (LOL)!

This cost me a whopping £4.50 for the bottle, I bought it cos it was the only Tea Tree Oil that Tesco had in stock to buy though I could of if I had wanted to, to have bought this as part of a deal where you buy 3 products for the price of 2 and I did consider it but because I didn't need anything else and didn't know if this was any good I stuck with only shelling out for one (which I regretting soon after!).

The packaging of this is simple enough. The bottle comes in a little green and white little oblong box and on the front of it we are told that it is Tisserand, Herby, Organic Tea-Tree 'Melaleuca Alternifolia' Pure Essential Oil 'Powerful, bracing and antibacterial, with a fresh herby aroma to deep cleanse the skin' and that the bottle I own is 9ml in size then other information on other sides of the box include being told a bit about the product (lots of information is provided in foreign languages too), safety information is given, we are told that this is suitable for Vegans to use and contact details for First Natural Brands LTD is also given which is the manufacturer of this product. Inside the box you get a small brown glass bottle with all the same information on it basically that is given on the outer box and it has a screw top plastic lid to that and a little spout to get the product out from and you get a huge white leaflet with absolutely loads of information on it telling us how to use it for massage, bathing, vaporisation and inhalation plus being told a bit more about the product and other products from the range. I really like the no nonsense look of this packaging and it exudes quality and faith rather than being cosmetically pretty and the leaflet is just so helpful and on that score I really do give this 5/5 for well thought out and detailed information.

      Using It:

For anti bacterial and cleansing you can add a few drops of this to your bath, you can inhale it and use a vapourising technique (Good for people with colds and flu), you can even massage with it if you so desire in fact with this you can pretty much do anything at all!

The liquid is clear and thin and smells like a really good quality tea tree oil, nothing more, nothing less. I use this neat but only a little of it on open pores, spots and to wipe over cuts and the likes with in the main and find this stuff to be really brilliant and worth the money. I have used tea tree oils on cold sores and a boil (not this one yet) and again found them to be brilliant and like I stated earlier a real must have!

This one though as I have said I used on a cut, which seemed to clean it up and stop it hurting and it healed quickly leaving no dreaded scarring. The open pores on my face closed and in fact as I gently rubbed this over my skin with some cotton wool grease and grime was visibly removed and my skin looked immediately brighter and clearer and the spot dried up within a couple of applications of using this!

I have also used this in my bath and mixed it will a little lavender oil which was great and I was left really scented with it all and really chilled out and all in all I recommend this really good quality tea tree oil to anyone as I think its a bit a of a must have!

Available in all good supermarkets and chemists.
