It costs £17 and to be honest I think it is quite expensive and I probably wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't of got the £15 off. I used the light concealer and although I do not have extremely light skin this colour fits better with my skin tone. It comes in five different colour ranges and they do fit for any skin type. I found I got a better effect from the concealer when I applied it after my foundation (as I do with mos...more

Premium Review Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer SP: Didn't conceal much! (277 words)
by - written on 02/07/09 (Very useful, 48 readings)
Rating:

As a big fan of Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation I was excited to try the concealer to match, I had a lot of hyper-pigmentation which took some covering, even the double wear foundation didn't mask it completely, so I needed a good concealer. As I'm quite pale I purchased the it in the lightest shade, which is 'light' (there are 5 shades to choose from) this is also the shade recommended for my foundation colour, which is Ecru. The Packaging: The concealer comes in a cylindrical shaped package with a wand applicator, I'm not a fan of these myself as they seem quite unhygienic. Instead, I chose to apply it by dabbing a little on a clean finger, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Decent concealer, will work, but nothing special (312 words)

This concealer matches a range of EL foundations so the colour and texture of the concealer will blend in well if that is what you use as a base. The concealer comes in a thin tube around the size of a standard lipgloss and comes with a lid applicator sponge, again much the same as with a lipgloss. The product is easily trasferred from the sponge applicator to your skin, and you can blend it into the skin with either another concealer brush or a clean fingertip. The texture of the concealer is like double cream, thick enough to stay put but thin enough to blend and build up if required. I do not think that even with daily use this concealer ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer SP: Say goodbye to your bags!!! (236 words)

****Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer SP **** When buying foundation i usually but the concealer to go with it. How else am i supposed to cover up my baggy eyes? **The brand** Estee Lauder makes high quality make up products and in fact also own other high end brands such as Mac and Clinque. The brand is very distinctive as it comes in a royal blue box and gold lettering which gives it a very expensive high quality look to it. In general i love this brand and am yet to experience a bad product from them. **Packaging** This comes in a long thin tube with a gold handle like a lip gloss tube including the applicator ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good but not worth the price (277 words)

I'd never used Estee Lauder products before but when I went for a makeover there it cost me £15 and you could redeem it on Estee Lauder products and as my usual concealer product was running out I decided to give it a try. Estee Lauder Boasts that it lasts around 15 hours so perfect if you can't be bothered with reapplying your make up throughout the day. The conealer is made easier to apply by a lip gloss type applicator which is great because you don't have to spend the money buying a brush. It costs £17 and to be honest I think it is quite expensive and I probably wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't of got the £15 off. I used the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Concealer SP: Disappointment. (163 words)
by - written on 20/07/09 (Somewhat useful, 9 readings)

My mums a big fan of Estee Lauder so whenever she buys a new product I'm always eager to give it ago. I really liked their foundation which seemed to last pretty long and their mascara really gave my eyelashes length and as soon as i tried the concealer i was very disappointed. It isn't great and looks quite thick and obvious. It goes a bit orange aswell after a while which really disapointed me; the last thing i wanted was to look like a wotsit. So i asked mum to come in and try it too and as i expected it was the same for her too. I would have rather not had it on especially if i was wearing no foundation. It seems to look quite thick and instead of ...  Read the complete review
