Foundation is always a difficult one for me, especially when considering the masses that are currently available for the smallest of pennies to the most ridiculous amounts - it really makes finding the ideal product that much harder. Estee Lauder are a brand that I often go to first and foremost with my cosmetic concerns as I have found I get on with their products well. I have very sensitive skin but their products never irritate me or cause any rashes. Quite some time ago now when I came to get a new foundation, I took a trip to my local Estee Lauder stockist where the consultant recommended this product to me. It is part of the 'double wear' range which is essentially Read the complete review

**Why I purchased this** I was looking for a foundation that would (a) keep my makeup on longer, so essentially to act as a base (b) cover any uneven tones in my skin and (c) ensure I didn't feel caked in makeup. I went to the Estee Lauder counter, having heard good things about Double Wear foundation and the lady there suggested I tried Double Wear Light, the "light" doesn't refer to the colour, just to the texture and weight of the foundation on your skin. **The packaging** I personally feel that the packaging is aimed at an older client (I am late 20's). It is very classic 1980's makeup counter, and I feel this is true of all of ... Read the complete review

I first used this foundation as a friend bought it for herself but it was slightly too light in colour for her but turned out perfect for me. This foundation has SPF 10 which is always a benefit to me. What I love about this foundation is the way it stays on the skin all day and does not slip off by dinner time - the staying power is amazing! Once applied I feel the skin is perfectly ready for any other make up such as powder and blusher. Throughout the day this foundation feels really natural and comfortable on the skin but the coverage lasts which is so important. In the past I have had problems with sensitive skin and always worry when using new ... Read the complete review

This is the best foundation that I have ever used. It goes on easily, gives good coverage, isn't orange, lasts all day and doesn't irritate my skin! I prefer it to the normal double wear for a number of reasons. Firstly, the clue is in the name. It is lighter. As I have skin that is quite prone to acne I don't like to use heavy, oily products. This is nice and light but still provides alot of coverage. Secondly, I prefer this bottle as you can cut the top off it and literally use every last drop. The hard bottle of the normal double wear means quite a lot is wasted and at almost £30, it is nice to be able to use it all. I use the lightest ... Read the complete review

I bought this foundation in different colours for both my mum and my sister who barely wear make-up. I'm doing my sister's wedding make-up so was looking for a light foundation that gave reasonable coverage and photographed well. After having this recommended to me by several friends, I decided to give it a go. The 30 ml tube costs around £25 and can be bought from stores such as Debenhams, John Lewis and House of Fraser. I bought mine from Debenhams because they will colour match it for you and give you a free sample to take away and try which was ideal for my mum and sister as they don't often wear make-up so could get used to it before committing to buy. ...
