Estée Lauder Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher

I am pretty lucky as I inherited good genes from my mum where my skin is concerned. I don't tend to suffer from spots too often, but I do have a problem with quite large pores on my nose and a slight oiliness which means make up never sits right whilst my skin can often look dull and lifeless. Having read a number of great reviews on this serum I eventually felt flush enough after all the Christmas spending to treat myself to it. Before spending over £30 on a reasonably small bottle of product I went to a local Department Store and asked if they had any samples as the words, pore refining and dry skin didn't seem to sit together. I have read reviews that say dry skin responds well to this cream but still wanted to try it first. I have oily skin with quite large pores, and have had my eye on this for some time given that it is marketed as being able to reduce them. This is the new product from Estee Lauder which is a new and improved version of the original Idealist. It feels very light and airy compared to the original but it doesnt moisturize well, so you have to finish it off with your daytime or night face cream. The cream blends easily into your skin leaving it feeling very soft, smooth and silky to touch, this cream is good for oily skin as it helps to matifiy and absorb excess sebum that causes your face to become shiny.
