*Introduction* I decided to buy this product after a recommendation from a friend who swears by it. I am 21 and I have combination skin which is prone to redness around the nose, dry patches on my forehead, blackheads on my nose and occasional spots and dry patches on the rest of my face. I bought Estee Lauder Idealist Skin Refinisher on ebay for £30, in a gift box which also contained Micro D, Deep Thermal Refinisher and Refinishing Eye Serum. If you use all these three together it is supposed to enhance their effectiveness. The product promises to renew your skin leaving it soft and smooth to touch by 'freeing the skin of flakiness and roughness, ... Read the complete review

I can't believe his incredible this product is!!! I had so many samples and thew them into my drawer until one day i thought to use them. I have so many scars from acne, uneven skin tone and sometimes red spots. The first time i used this prouct was at night and first thing in the morning i was shocked at the difference it made in my skin with one application. a week later my scars are 80% reduced! I have used so many other products to exfoliate and even my skin tone but i thought i was out of luck! The product feels so smooth on the skin, and the places where i had acne, started to lightly feel, so it definitely had an exfoliating effect. my ... Read the complete review

I’ve always had this image in my head of Estee Lauder producing the type of products your Mum would buy. However, after years of rebellion, I’ve now seen the light and realised that maybe Mum does know best after all! After stealing a free sample of the Idealist Skin Refinisher from my friend’s glamour magazine (it’s not like she’ll ever know!), I have become hooked on this wonder stuff! ---What does it do?--- Estee Lauder claim that this product will rid your skin of flakiness, redness, blotchiness and shine and also improve the skin’s natural moisture level creating a smoother, more even look. ---The ... I really must be approaching middle age. Gone are the days when I thought the name Estee Lauder conjured up my Mum and my Gran. Since testing, using and buying Estee Lauder products recently, I have to say I?m a confirmed convert and Estee Lauder enthusiast extraordinaire. When I bought an Estee Lauder moisturiser recently (see previous review), I was given a sample of Estee Lauder Idealist Skin Refinisher. My first comment would have to be about the naming convention for these products. I mean, what exactly does that mean? Does it give you any indication ... Read the complete review

Most people love the spring/ summer but for one reason I dread it! I am 35 yrs old , when I was a teen I suffered from acne which left me with scars on both cheeks and really large pores in the cheek area amongst the scarring. There is also an uneven skin tone with some redness around where the scarring is. Normally I have to wear a lot of foundation all the time, which in the winter is ok , but in warm temperatures and good weather - liquid foundation looks oily and unnatural and clogs up and collects in the pores looking terrible. ( I have oily T-zone too!!!) Almost bad enough to not want to be seen out in the natural light! On the one hand the foundation ... Read the complete review
