Advantages: Amazingly rich cream that makes you feel great

Disadvantages: The price of course!!

OK - I admit it - I am a lucky girl. I was given a pot of this ludicrously expensive cream by a lovely friend when I was pregnant and feeling very very sick - she had heard that Liz Hurley used it after her pregnancy and thought that I may like a spot of indulgence.

Well, who was I too refuse? I managed to wait and save the pot until after I had given birth and used it to treat my tired and dried out skin. I must say that it is truly the most amazingly rich cream that I have ever tried. It is like giving your skin a big cuddle and making it feel all better. Even the pot feels expensive - it is really heavy and gives you the clue that there is something extra special inside.

I must admit that I am not sure exactly what this "Ultimate Lifting Creme" is supposed to lift exactly, but I used it on my face and neck and although didn't notice any "lift" it really did seem to make a difference and give a bit of life back into my complexion. It may of course have been the effect that I knew how much money was being applied to my face which made me feel better and not the effect of the cream itself, but whichever is the case, it worked!

Estee Lauder say that there are 54 special ingredients, including South Sea Pearls which make up this cream. Well, I can't say that I can tell you what they are, but those clever people who designed this cream must have been working hard to find them and make such a magical cream.

So, down to the crunch part - exactly how much do you pay to make your skin feel better. Well, to buy a 50ml pot of this magic will set you back £150 - yes, you did read that right, and no I haven't put a decimal point in the wrong place. So is it worth it? NO OF COURSE NOT!!! Think what else you could do with the money. But, if you happen to have a very generous friend who gives you a pot, savour every single drop!!

Summary: Great product, but not worth the price

For that price, it would have to turn me into Angelina Jolie for me to buy it! Good review.
